Great bakery, very friendly service. I really love their bread pudding and apple fritters.

Apple pies taste delicious. Donuts are handcrafted and HUGE. Blueberry pie was very sweet. Pumpkin pie has less of a pumpkin taste more if a cinnamon nutmeg taste. Cheese cake is amazing. Customer service is very very good. And the prices are extremely reasonable. Definitely recommend ordering at least a week in advance. They get so busy but it's worth it.

I'm not a huge fan, but my husband is. He always wants to come back here. He loves cupcakes. I don't find any of their baked goods particularly impressive. I think my tastebuds definitely have a different standard than all the patrons who love Baker's Pride.

The fritters were huge and super heavy... because they were LOADED with grease! I mean, completely saturated! It soaked through a minimum of 20 napkins. I would not recommend this place. My husband bought a dozen doughnuts to take to one of his clients. I thought that $30 for a dozen donuts was pretty steep.
I'd rather have Krispy Kreme's any day.

I don't believe in eating low quality baked goods because I don't have calories to spare! This place is worth the splurge. Top notch. Fresh. Great variety of all the breakfast and sweet classics. A specific shout out for their chocolate iced donuts and petit fours.

Hands down one of the best donut places ever! There are so many to choose from, so try them all! But for real the donuts are soft, the icing is creamy - not too sweet - and like the best thing you'll ever eat. Go try them, now!

We contacted Baker's Pride based on their reviews compared to other bakeries in Savannah. My daughter just turned 18 after starting school in Savannah and we are on the opposite coast and needed to ensure she had a birthday cake. They were so easy to work with, and the pictures of it were so impressive!My daughter and her friends raved about how much they enjoyed the cake. Prices were reasonable for a professionally baked and decorated cake - will definitely reach out to them again. You'll find a plethora of daily fresh made donuts and pastries at Baker's Pride in the Midtown area of Savannah! This locally owned bakery, since 1982, has quite a following and today there was a steady stream of customers! My custard filled donut was pillowy soft and delicious! I do so wish there had been a bit more custard than the small dabby do, however, it was Yummy!
They have a cooler of sodas, juices and teas, and a coffee bar with a choice of five different varieties to choose from.
Additionally, they make wedding cakes and have premade cakes and pies ready for your celebration

"Where everybody knows your name!" ... that's pretty much what my experience here reminded me of! Friendly and warm people - they make you feel like family .
As you enter, you will be greeted with a variety of freshly baked goodies. I highly recommend the donut holes - they're just the right amount of crisp and light - also you can taste the freshness! We always pick up goodies from Bakers pride when we're in that part of town!

This was usually one of my favorite places for cupcakes. However, the last 2 times I have gone in they have been stale. Flavorful, but stale. I even asked Eliza today for fresh cupcakes based on my last visit since they were for my injured mom. Disappointed in my recent visits unfortunately.

Baker's Pride's name is pretty accurate! It was so hard to choose between all of the delicious-looking pastries!

Here's what we got, in order of preference:
- Cinnamon Sugar Twist: It was a close call between #1 and #2, but this classic was just so good!
- Apple Fritter: Deeelicious. We got the small, but it was still so big!
- Cake Donut: Not the best cake donut I've had, but it was still decent.

Baker's Pride is a great old-school family-owned bakery. The cases are filled with every delicious treat you can imagine - donuts, cookies, pastries, cupcakes, cheesecakes pies and more. Our favorites are the friitters (pumpkin and banana are so good!) and the individual brownie cheesecakes. With so many choices, it's hard to not fill up their big boxes. BP makes full size cakes too.

One of the reasons we love this place is when the pandemic started, Baker's Pride delivered large trays of cookies and baked goods to the hospital staff working so hard to keep us safe. They were generous

Hands-down the best glazed donuts! The service is always good and staff is friendly. Decided to try some chocolate cupcakes in addition to the donuts and was very disappointed with the cupcakes. While the frosting was delicious, the crumb was very dry, as if it had either been over-baked or the cupcake was sitting for awhile and was just old. Will definitely stick to just the donuts from now on, because they are amazing and the reason why the review is still a four-star.

Dana and her magical team of bakers set the family up with a full assortment of holiday treats. We tried the chewy chocolate cookie and 4 other glorious options. A great team providing amazing desserts. We will make this a regular stop when we are in town.

I took one bite of the maple bacon doughnut and felt a tingle all the way down in my pants. When I looked down, I had a full blown erection. That's how good this place is. I wish I could eat the donuts from here every day.

Super friendly staff, answering all my questions on the history of the place and what the donuts had in them. They have been doing this for over 30 years, and have a wide assortment of donuts, muffins, cookies, and more.

We ordered three different kinds of fritters, the apple, banana, and peach. Unfortunately, all of them didn't have enough fruit pieces in them, and were far too oily. The glazed twist donut was also too oily. The cream filled donut was my favorite, it was prepared perfectly, and had lots of tasty chocolate on top and white delicious cream inside

First I would like to say that they have something for everyone. From the word of mouth I heard this place is the best bakery in town so I had to come try it. The choices are phenomenal. My favorites include the glazed donuts, oreo cheesecake, and cookies. Everything looks so beautiful and tastes delicious! I got about $37 worth of goodies this morning. I got some glazed donuts, cheesecake, cookies, cinnamon rcustard pastries, and many more! They do not disappoint. It was like walking into dessert heaven. The staff were so sweet. I will definitely come back when I'm in town again.

Went here to get some vanilla cupcakes and was really disappointed. The cupcakes were dry and crumbly. They tasted like they were 4 days old. I'm trying to determine if I should call to complain and ask for a new set up cupcakes.
These are the cupcakes that are given to mothers when they have their baby at Memorial hospital. That is where I tasted them. I asked the nurse about them because they were so good. She told me where they were from. So I went there all excited. This is a complete let down.

Its near Candler of Derenne, so for anyone who is visiting there it's the ideal location to grab a coffee and a sweet treat.
