Bodies by Jay is a local family-owned business that has been providing light-duty towing service for over 30 years. We are contracted with the following roadside assistance companies: Agero, Allied, Allstate, Asurion, Geico, Honk, Nation Safe Drivers, Pinnacle, Quest, Road America, Roadside Protect, USAC and Swoop. Our owner, Jay Cardinale, takes pride in his work. He oversees all aspects of the business. He and his employees stay up to date on the latest training and vehicle knowledge.

Bodies by Jay provides accident recovery service and collision cleanup after an accident. We can recover your vehicle from most anywhere, including on a major highway or out of a ditch on a dirt road. We also can recover trucks or cars that have been rolled over or severely damaged after an accident.
Bodies By Jay provides efficient towing service in the local area as well as long-distance towing when needed. We have two flatbed trucks available to tow your personal truck or car. We offer rapid response and professional service to get your vehicle where it needs to go right away. We keep your vehicle safe and secure, making sure your car gets where it needs to go safely.
Bodies By Jay can come to your vehicle right away if you are stranded for any reason. If you are locked out of your car or are experiencing mechanical issues such as a dead battery or flat tire, we can help you and get your car or truck back on the road quickly.

We broke down just past Exit 27 Southbound on the Northway on Saturday evening. Caleb came to our rescue and was thoroughly pleasant and careful with not only our car, but also with my husband and me! He towed us all the way to Fuccillo Hyundai in Schenectady which was a long haul, but he was very polite and even made a pit stop for my husband.

Don’t waste your time .I See why Glens Falls Toyota recommends them. They’re just as bad . Said Work was done , problems from the beginning . Sprayed over pebbles still on my car so they had to re-do. Dust left through my whole car when given back to me . The worst part was the gas cap door kept popping out everytime I slammed the door . After 3 times there never really taken care of . Sad part is I moved out of state , stopping several times to close . Recently emailed Jay with pics of See this is what I deal with everyday dropping my grandkids off for school. Only to ask if he would cover

Had someone back into my 3 month old car. Was sent to bodies by jay to have the work done, it was a simple bumper cover job. Got the truck back and there were runs in the paint, high spots with no paint on them. Bumper wasn't even aligned right. I went back talked to Jay the owner and he said "there isn't much i can do about that" on all the issues. I didn't have time to argue so i had to come back the next week. I dropped it off, pointed out all the issues. Got a call two hours later saying it was done. Go to pick it up and all they did is use some touch up paint on the spots that where missing

Don't bother getting an estimate from this place because the estimate means nothing to these guys. They just give you a low price to get you to go with them and then when you show up to get your car they try to charge you double what they originally said with no warning whatsoever. I was told if I dropped my car off on Sunday the work would be done Monday and I could pick it up before the close of business. It was getting close to 5pm and no one had called me so I called to check and was told they wouldn't be able to get to it until Wednesday! You'd think they would want to inform

My boyfriend was referred to this place by someone to get work done on the roof of his car. He went and got an estimate and because they had the best pricing, he set an appointment. Apparently they contracted out for the work because when it was finally done (over a week later which was longer than they said) they called him up and told him the work is done and it's over double what the estimate was! When he got there and talked to the guy, they brought it down a bit but it was still MUCH more than the original estimate. They said the person they contract with needed to do more work than expected

I had a small accident and was struck by another driving on the passengers side of my car. Small scratches. I was contacted by her insurance company and told to go through this body shop. I must say, they are awesome! They walked me through the entire process with the progressive agent there the entire time. I arrived on time, they quickly processed my car, called for a rental car paid by progressive, they gave me a new car and I was on my way. Everyone is cheery, welcoming, and offering help in whatever you need here. Great experience, and a great professional job fixing my car. Would recommend

I would give these crooks no stars if possible.
I got into an accident right around Christmas time in 2013 and I was pretty shaken up about it. Had a choice to pick between 2 shops and was told Bodies by Jay was a great place so of course I chose them. When I went to pick up my vehicle the following day to transfer it to another repair shop that is backed up my insurance company I found that my tool box and a few other things had been stolen. Spoke with the manager and nothing was done and could have been done. Way to be professional, huh? Would never recommend them to anyone.
