Our brand new, state of the art, preschool campus consists of six technology rich classrooms as well as a fully equipped indoor gymnasium. Hampton Cove Preschool is licensed by the State of Alabama Department of Human Resources and our classrooms, as well as our three outdoor playgrounds, have been designed and furnished to meet NAEYC guidelines for quality early childhood education.
Our certified teachers utilize the HighScope Curriculum to ensure that each student, from our infants to our Pre-Kindergarteners, is engaged in developmentally appropriate activities that promote academic, social, and emotional development. We invite you to schedule a tour of our campus, to meet our staff, and see all that Hampton Cove Preschool has to offer.

Services
In response to a community need for licensed, quality, early childhood education in the area, Melissa Chatagnier Isaac founded Hampton Cove Preschool in 2013 and serves as the school's principal. Her belief in the development of the whole child coupled with her education and experience created the environment found today at Hampton Cove Preschool.
Hampton Cove Preschool utilizes the HighScope Curriculum. HighScope is one of the only research based curriculums available for early education and emphasizes adult child interaction, a carefully designed learning environment with a daily routine, and a plan- do-review process that strengthens initiative and self-reliance in children.
Parents interested in enrolling their children in Hampton Cove Preschool are invited to schedule a tour of the school. This can be done in person, over the phone, or via e-mail. Following the tour, the parents will submit a completed application for enrollment as well as the application fee. After reviewing the application, Hampton Cove Preschool will contact the family to set up an admissions interview.
Our Infant / Toddler outdoor classroom is a protected veranda bordered with interactive panels. The children will have a large, open area on which to practice their emerging skills of creeping, crawling, cruising, and, eventually, walking. Their developing visual, auditory, olfactory and tactile acuity will be stimulated with the wide variety of sights, sounds, smells and textures only available outside.
Knowing that the safety and well being of your child is your primary concern, we have constructed the two bathrooms in each and every classroom of 8 inch-thick, steel reinforced concrete complete with 18 gauge metal doors to function as storm shelters in the event of a weather emergency.
This allows students to shelter in place, in small groups with their regular classmates and teachers to minimize distress and eliminate the need to move through the building during a weather emergency. All classrooms as well as our entryway is equipped with closed circuit cameras that send live feeds to our Principal and Vice-Principal's offices as well as the Office Manager at the reception desk.

This is a truly special place. It's been a real "home away from home" for our kids. We have 3 children who have attended over the last 2 years, from the older infant classroom to the preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms. We couldn't be happier with the facilities, organization, cleanliness, meals, rules, academics, and teachers. We have seen very little, if any, turnover of staff or families. You can tell the teachers are happy to be there, and they all seem to know my kids even if they aren't in their classes. The administrators are so caring, knowledgeable, and helpful, and they're always
