I wish I didn't have to give them 1 star. I'm so upset that I didn't check Yelp before scheduling the appointment. My dishwasher was making a grinding noise & wouldn't shut off even with the power off. I was in a rush to get this fixed due to the holiday. Victor literally came in for 2 minutes & said you need a new drain pump. I asked him how do you know by just opening the dishwasher? Mind you when you call to set the appointment the rep ask you what the issue is. In my opinion he did nothing!! Oh and he proceeded to say, he didn't have the part. Once he orders

Victor came over. Quoted me $1,400!!!! What the actual hell! For a compressor? This is a less than 4 years old LG. He came up with a bunch of bogus crap. I ended up (thankfully listened to my wise wife) and called LG. It's $299. And apparently under warranty for 10 years!
This business is a scam, they are thieves, and crooks. Before coming here I called them to let them know I was disappointed, and the guy who answered said they were competitive etc. So I then came here. NEVER do business with these crooks. I don't know how they can sleep at night ripping people off.

This review is to report the corrupt business practices of Appliance Repair Center at 4653 Carmel Mountain Road, Suite 308-223, 92130.
I called this business on December 19, 2020. My refrigerator electronics were unresponsive, and I feared that I would lose my food, an especially expensive loss during the holiday, unless I got the refrigerator repaired immediately. SCAM !!!!! I called this company to have my Samsung Fridge fixed because it was not cooling. Victor was the technician that came to take a look at it. He took a look at the fridge for less than 2 minutes and came up with a $900 estimate to fix it. I decided not to pay that amount and instead order the parts from Samsung to install myself. He immediately got angry when I told him I wouldn't have it fixed and would rather just pay the diagnostic fee. He wrote down the "required parts" on my receipt and when I called Samsung to order them, two of the parts were $10 and one of them didn

The technician was in a hurry from the start! He took out a flashlight and lit up the back inside of my fridge and stated that it would cost $795.00 to fix!!! In 3 minutes from my front door to the fridge front door he was going to say it cost $795. Unbelievable! He didn't even look at the back!! Or investigate any other parts. I was dumbfounded! And then he said that will be $95.00 for the service call if you don't want to fix it! He was so ready to gauge me and he even called me ahead of time to see if we could speed up our appointment from 1pm to right that second when he called at 11am. last

Callout visit itself was fine, but good luck trying to get your invoice after! The person on the telephone was polite and trying to help, but I never received my invoice after the service visit... still didn't receive one after calling them asking for it... and yet again, still didn't receive one after calling them a 2nd time! I don't have time to keep calling them and asking for my invoice! I'm a private landlord and need invoices for my taxes, ARC needs to fix this issue asap! Never had this issue with ANY service center ever in my life!

Our Samsung oven locked its door and turned off the digital display after doing a self-clean. Googled it and found it was usually a thermo-coupler that gets fried when this brand cleans itself (Crazy). Anyway, I should have google-reviewed ARC and Victor. They were listed as one of the few Samsung approved reps in my area, so I called them. Was quoted $95 for a diagnostic service call. Victor showed up, told me the diagnosis would be $395 AND that any repair would cost more. I should have told him no right then, but we're closing escrow in 5 days and the oven has to work. He opened

I called them at 7:10 am an a woman answered. It sounded like I woke her up from sleep. I told her my refrigerator needed repair. She called back and said the service guy would arrive between 9 am and 1 pm. No one showed up at 1 pm. I called and was told he was on his way and would arrive "soon". At 2 pm I called again. The same story. No one showed up. Finally at 3 pm, one guy in an unmarked car showed up. I told him he was 2 hours late and I had canceled the service call. NOT a reliable company at all.

BIG RIP OFF!! I sent ARC to fix the washing machine for my 88 yr old Mom. Victor spent 45 mins fixing a "broken latch" (not the problem) and then demanded $760. Mom felt pressured to pay right away without challenging the cost. Washer still not working, and can't get ARC (San Marcos) to return calls. Please do NOT hire these guys ... Total SCAM !!

I told Victor that my drain pump on my washer was defective and needed to be replaced. He took a brief looked at the unit and agreed. Then came the shocker. Victor said that it would cost $790 for the replacement!!! This was more than twice the amount quoted by other technicians. Then when I said that this is the highest quote I had received, he attempted to reduce the price of the repair to align with previous quotes.
Update: I had a second tech evaluate the issue soon after Victor did. Not only did the dryer not need to be moved (as Victor claimed), but they were able to conduct the repair at

Don't waste your money! It cost me $420 to fix a $102 wash plate in my washer. Of that $420, the $200 labor charge for a job that lasted less than 1/2 hour including the 5 minute service call Victor was here to assess the washer. Speaking of Victor, he must've had a very bad day because he was in a surly mood when he arrived here and was less than honest about what he had to replace. Do yourself a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Victor came to fix my LG front loaded washer. He asked many questions before coming and came prepared with the right parts to fix the washer. Victor came out because washer wasn't working. Victor said it was a safety switch. Victor quoted $350 for a repair, he say the look on my face and dropped it down to $295. He was done in 10 minutes!! I googled part and it was about $10 on Amazon. This company is a ripoff!! Apparently, I didn't read the reviews before I called. I thought I was calling another company and made the mistake of calling this company. I have left a message for a return call and have not received it yet. Stay away!!!!

Like others on Yelp, I had Victor come take a look at my fridge today and got incomplete service. He opened the fridge door then diagnosed the problem being something that he in no way could diagnose with such minimal inspection. I'm no appliance technician but I knew something was fishy so I called Premier Appliance Repair for a second opinion and later found out that my skepticism was valid and the issue had nothing to do with what Victor was trying to sell me.
With that being said, they did offered to refund me for the misdiagnosis but I'll have to wait to receive that in the mail
