With a 100% graduation rate, CBA students also score 30 percentage points higher on NYS Math and ELA exams on average. Since its founding in 1900, CBA has benefited from the philanthropy of devoted alumni, parents and friends. The rich history of the school includes many stories about generous supporters offering their time, talent and treasure. In 17th century France, Saint John Baptist de La Salle founded schools for the poor that encouraged teachers to touch hearts. Amazingly, this simple instruction resonated among aspiring educational communities.
