I'm Celeste Mirassou, CFP, RIA, an independent financial planner serving the North Bay. I meet with clients in Napa, Petaluma and San Rafael. I offer my financial planning on a project or hourly basis - only. I am compensated only by you, so my focus is on your specific needs and budgetary requirements.
My loyalty is only to you. I receive no commissions for products. I am also a Registered Investment Advisor. I provide objective and affordable solutions for investors looking for cost-effective help with investing. I focus on your needs, with no management fees based on "minimum" investable assets.

Services
This is a chance for us to communicate directly, at no cost or obligation to you, about your personal financial needs and goals. Typically, I make some general suggestions and inquiries to determine if I am a good resource for you. My ADV, a clearly-written document that will tell you more about how I work and how I charge;.
Once we're clear that we want to work together, and we have signed the documents, we can extend the meeting to include my review of the documents you brought. This is a great opportunity for me to gather more insights about your needs and concerns. While we will have as many face-to-face meetings as necessary, most of the planning work happens when we are not together.
So what is a Financial Plan anyway? It's a tool that guides you on your financial path and it is as unique as the people involved. Comprehensive Financial Plan - This work is something like putting each piece of your financial puzzle under a magnifying glass: your budget/cash flow, retirement planning, investments, insurance protection, tax planning, education or college savings, and estate planning.
Who needs a comprehensive financial plan? Well, ideally, everyone. What I find is that the best value is for clients who have either adequate income or assets to pay every day living expenses, who generally know what they are spending, but are uncertain that they are doing all that can be done to reach their financial goals.
I strongly believe that most individuals can learn to manage their own portfolios. It's important that they have a balanced asset allocation, use low cost ETF's or mutual funds, and are passive investors. Sound complicated? Even if you don't understand all those terms, I can still help you to spend less to manage your investments.
