Mike and Debbie Jones of Brandenburg first opened the agency in 1980, operating under MFA (Missouri Farmers Association) which later on became Shelter Insurance. They made the move to operate as an independent agency, becoming Jones Insurance Agency in November of 1984.
In 1991, as the agency continued to grow and the Meade County community expanded, the agency moved from its original office in Rivertown Plaza on High Street to its current location at 1975 Brandenburg Road (Hwy 448).Several acquisitions and branch locations were added throughout the years including the merger with Woolfolk Insurance Agency in 2001 creating Jones-Woolfolk Insurance Agency, Inc.

Ginny grew up in the insurance business in Brandenburg and became a 2nd generation owner in 2007. She graduated from Murray State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and in 2004 with a Masters degree in Business. As a licensed agent in property, casualty, life, and health, Ginny works with our clients to manage all their insurance needs.
