Sandstar Custom Cabinets is family owned and operated and is located in the Northeastern part of Oklahoma. Founder, Larry Retherford, has had over 40 years experience in the industry, building his first set of cabinets in Redding, California in 1972. He worked for various custom cabinet shops in California and Colorado before establishing Sandstar Custom Cabinets in 1983.
Larry recently retired, turning the reigns over to his son, Tom Retherford, and wife, JoElla, in Autumn of 2016. Tom & JoElla reside in the Tahlequah area with their 3 daughters, and plan to keep the cabinet business a family tradition for many years to come.
