My name is Brian Washburn, a Vermonter and an ex-automotive technician who served that industry for over 23 years. I grew up in the family automotive business and it was a great career for me. But. I was looking for a change of pace in life. After closing our automotive business in 2014, I took some time off to refresh myself and determine my next path in life.
Being an outdoor kind of person, I wanted something different than the automotive world could offer. I also like running equipment, but I didn't want to be "just the guy" doing excavation and digging holes. After extensive research and talking to people in this industry, I decided on a land maintenance business, Vermont Land Maintenance.

Services
With the capability to get into tight places, a reach of 18 feet up and down, and the ability to mow in a 360 degree path, mow grass and up to 6 woody material, which gets mulched on the spot. Our excavator is big enough to get the job done, yet small enough not to destroy your yard. The advantage over a wheeled tractor is that an excavator has much lower ground pressure.
We found an old stone wall, and a large piece of ledge that is now exposed again. This was phase 1, we will be back soon for phase 2 and transform this area to nice grass field. Trim trees and shrub overgrowth by driveway, working around a barbed wire fence. Cleared trail section to hunting grounds and trimmed apple trees competing with other vegetation.
