Great place to rent a pontoon boat on the river, it was a lot of fun! Beautiful sights and we enjoyed parking and wadding in the river, just leave your snobby, uptight extended family at home 😛.

We had a great time at Holiday Shores. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night but we made the most of it. Jill went above and beyond to help us secure our last minute reservation. Even one of the seasonal, long term tenants was kind enough to give my family and I a ride to the pool on his golf cart after we took a wrong turn. We stayed in one of the motel units. I would describe it as more of a single unit cottage. It was cozy and very clean. It made for a great "camping trip" without all the setup. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the Dells but would like

Beware EV owners!!! We paid for an electric site and paid for an additional car at our site which was all fine and we were aware of before we arrived. On our third day there, I received a call telling me I was not allowed to plug in my Tesla to the electric outlet, or else I would be charged $20/day. I immediately unplugged, but I was completely baffled. I’d highly recommend the owners educate themselves on how much electricity an EV actually takes…. My car doesn’t even cost $20 a MONTH to charge at home, so why on earth would these people be charging $20 a DAY??? Absolutely ridiculous, especially

The grounds are massive and walking up two steep hills to rent a golf cart was not fun for this old lady. Ok fine. The not so fine part is that it needs to be returned by 7:00 pm every night. They need a handle on how to make this easier for senior citizens. Pizza and other food was great; staff was great; our lodging was great; and our grandson loved the floats, the lake and their pool too. We won't ever revisit this resort, however.

This place looks way better on paper than what it is for real. They nickel and dime you to death. I paid cash on my final bill yet they still charged me a booking and transaction fee. They also charge 4% if you use a credit card. Why should I pay their cost for doing business with me? I spent about $2000 at this place. The cabin rentals are in bad shape. There was a hole in the bathtub and you could barely sleep on the mattresses they were so bad. Most of the staff is rude except for Cassie at the golf cart rental, she is great. The playground equipment is in need of major repairs and dangerous

Our family has been coming here for a family reunion for years. My husband and I live close by so we usually come visit for a couple hours on one of the days instead of camping. This year we came on a Friday after 7PM and were charged over $20 for just me, my husband, and our car to visit. Even after explaining the situation, we were met with very rude interactions literally forcing us to check in. This pricing is ridiculous considering the circumstances. I understand if we were staying the whole weekend or maybe even checking in the morning and staying all day, but $20+ for literally 2 hours of

First year coming here. Stayed the weekend with my family of six. I couldn't be anymore satisfied. The staff was nice except when we first arrived, one of the staff kept saying "can I help you?" In a rude tone. Great place for kids and adults. Me and the young ones had a blast on the lake with the inflatables, by far the best part. The place is very hilly with sharp corners and kids on bikes and such, so make sure to be careful especially when hauling trailers.

We've been coming each year since 2017 and we have never had less than a great time! We've stayed in both the old and new motel units as well as park models and have never had a problem. The campground is beautiful and wooded, particularly the older section, the amenities and activities are plenty, and the beach is nice (It's on the Wisconsin River, so don't expect a white sand, privately manicured Florida country club type affair. And yes the river water is supposed to be that color.) The store and ice cream shop are well appointed - pretty much anything you need at prices about what I would expect

I absolutely love coming to Holiday Shores. I was introduced to the campground in 2015 and I’ve come back nearly every year since then. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating, and they always clarify policies and charges as needed. The bathrooms are always clean and there’s a variety of things to do on the campground, making it adult and family friendly. I’ve stayed on the non-river sites, guest house, and park models over the years- all with great experiences. I recommend booking a stay here- just make sure you book early so you get what you want! :)
