Uplighting is one of the most dramatic and cost-effective ways to change the appearance of a space. In the past this type of lighting was only available for high end events such as concerts. Recently, changes in lighting technology have made this lighting very affordable and it is now the number one requested addition to all of our events.
Gobos are used to project your name, monogram, logo or graphic through light and onto the dance floor or walls of your venue. Our custom gobos create the ultimate in personalization to your event. Rick is awesome! He DJ'd our wedding in October of 2020 and rolled with the punches when we had to move our location outside. With so many last minute changes, our day-of schedule was a little bit hectic, but Rick helped keep us on track and was super patient every time we said we were almost ready, but weren't. Haha! He really captured our musical taste from the info we gave him and everyone loved what he played. My girlfriends and I were on the dance floor all night! Definitely book Rick for your next event!

We had so many compliments on the music and the atmosphere Rick provided . He listened to what we wanted and didn't want played at our reception and really knocked the ball out of the park . He kept guests entertained before we got there so there was no down time, and he kept us on time letting us know what we would be doing . If you want a superior DJ for your wedding Rick is your man.

OUTSTANDING! Metro Music Entertainment is hands down the best dj service. I hired them for my sons wedding and reception and every detail was perfect. The dance floor was packed the entire night. We hired metro music for our wedding ceremony and reception on 6/17/16 and days later our guests are still talking about how great Chris was! Rick and Chris are both amazing people but even better DJs, they were both so easy to work with and I didn't have to worry about anything! We hired Rick as our wedding reception DJ, and couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out! We met with him several times before the big day, and he was very helpful with all of the questions we had. He coordinated with the managers of the reception venue and photographer so the whole event was stress free, which was a huge priority to us! In addition we had the uplighting and Photo Booth which I would also recommend. Guests really enjoyed the Photo Booth and we loved going through the memory book of all of the pictures at the end of the night! Metro Music has very reasonably prices

Chris and the team at Metro Music Entertainment are hands down the best DJ & entertainers in the metro Detroit area. You know you found a great DJ when your 80+year old grandparents are trying to find a reason to book them again!! Rick was amazing professional and so much fun to work with. He made the whole process fun and… relaxing. He played every song we asked him to and more. It's been two weeks and everyone is still raving about how great he was. So happy that my husband suggested Chris for our wedding, he was amazing. The planning process was much simpler than I had anticipated. He walked me through the day and asked all of the questions, totally accepting my decisions and special requests, but also helping me a lot in all of the places that I had absolutely no idea what I wanted. Chris was the DJ for our wedding. Chris was a friend of mine and I wanted to give him some business, but after the wedding I realized that this was the best decision that I could have made. He was so professional. He made sure that everything went smoothly. When it came time for the actual dancing to start, people were on the dance floor from the beginning right until the very end, something that doesn't happen at all that many weddings.
