Dan The Gutterman

Have had to call this business weekly since October to find out when they were going to come back out and look at the drain issue they found during their first trip. Have left countless message on voicemail, those calls are never returned. Have talked to multiple staff and both supervisors. One supervisor said she would keep her file on my desk and make sure they can put. The other apologized and told me she would talk to Dan and get back to me. Shockingly, neither followed up on their promises.
Might be the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with.

Very disappointed. Asked for gutter inspection and discussion of options to deal with over flow problem. Instead they simply used a blower on the gutters for ten minutes, workers would not discuss area where we had a problem and management kept saying they would come back out but have not and ignore our requests to follow up.
One of poorest examples of customer service I have experienced and I believe a misrepresentation of what they claim to do.
Skip the aggrevation and hire someone else.

We asked them to come out to install drip edge for our gutter last year. Two weeks later a storm came through and blew out the drip edge, and it turns out they just slid the drip edge under the shingles. They came back out after and “reinstalled” by putting 4 to 6 screws on a 20 ft run through the drip edge they put back up. This year a wind storm pulled the drip edge back out and damaged our fascia and soffit. I called them after having an engineer look at the damage and saying telling me it was installed incorrectly. Absolutely pathetic level of service. Called this company over 2 weeks ago to schedule an appointment and they stated that with the rain that was upcoming it was hard to say but they would give us a call and plenty of warning before they came out to our house. Perfectly acceptable, and one week went by with no call. Another week went by and today in the middle of the work day we got a ring on our doorbell, and Dan and his crew decided to show up with no call or warning at all. We have only had wonderful experiences with Dan the Gutterman. We have used them multiple times at our personal residence and now have also had them clean the gutters at our family business. The service technician called before his arrival to verify it was a good time and was extremely polite. They worked quickly and efficiently and even had taken before and after photos for my review (no way I wasn't getting on the roof!). They cleaned up after themselves and let me know when they were complete. We will definitely use them again!

I hired them to clean my gutters last year and was told it wouldn't be necessary to be home when the cleaning took place. I happened to be home for a few minutes when the agent initially arrived. He asked if there were any problem areas he should be aware of and I pointed a few places out to him. Most of the areas pointed out have been better, but there was a particular area that has still been overflowing all year, leading me to think there was a problem with the gutter. Didn't call on way to appointment like promised, luckily I was home. Sprayed garage gutter out with hose, all over side of house. No way they couldn't have known. Had to go by and ask to clean up, which they did, but shouldn't have come to that. For $200 I'll call someone else next time.

Wish I would have seen these reviews prior to hiring them.

I had to call them multiple times over the next two months just to get them out to the house to do the work. They would tell me they were planning on coming and then no show.

Once there (October), they said they didn't receive good enough info from the office about the job and therefore didn't have the right tools do the work...actually asked me if I had tools on hand they could borrow...

They leave and tell me someone will call me to reschedule. No call.

My experience was not what I expected. I had used this company about 25 years ago and received excellent service. This time I called them because I had a leak in the back bedroom ceiling and when the insurance company representative went in the roof he found it was not the roof but one of the gutters needed to be turned a different way. I called Dan the Gutterman in January and was told they couldn't accept new clients for 4 to 6 weeks. Okay. So I keep in touch with them. I wish I had seen Dan the Gutterman reviews on this sight. No one came out to estimate, which they advertise they do, instead they looked at my house on goggle earth. From my 1st communication I said I wanted to be here. First time I called them, they came and did OK. Cleaned the gutters with a leaf blower, which seemed weird to me. Second time I called them was in November. They said it would be 2 or 3 weeks. Never showed. Called again on December 20, no answer, no call back. Called again at the end of December, the woman who answered said she didn't know why Suzanne hadn't added me to the schedule, said they'd send somebody out that week. I called a few weeks ago to request an appointment. They said someone could come out the week of 12/3-12/7 and that they would call me that week with a specific date. No call and no one showed, so I left a message on 12/6 for an update. No response. Called again on 12/12 and left a message again, still no response. VERY POOR customer service. I understand if you are busy this time of year, but to not show up and not even call back is unacceptable.

They quoted me $145 over the phone to "reattach" my gutter. When they guy arrived at my house, he just cleared a blockage in my gutter then he left. It took him a total 15 minutes. I called to tell the office that he didn't end up needing to reattach and reinforce my gutter - it was literally one trip up the ladder. So I thought they would naturally give me a break on the price. The lady said that a trip to the house is $145 no matter what... So yeah, I would avoid this company... They are deceptive and dishonest. $145 per 15 minutes equals $580 per hour, which equals $1,206

Complete mess of an operation...guy gets on the roof with a leaf blower and blows wet gutter junk all over the place...sidewalks, decks, covered in debris...

I contacted this company in September to have my gutters cleaned, downspouts inspected, and underground drain lines snaked. I requested that they contact me when they came to do the work so that I could discuss with them the issues that we were having. They allegedly came to the house and left me with a bill for over $500.00. They claim to have cleaned out the gutters, snaked the underground drain lines, and installed a "drip edge" on our gutter system. Interestingly, I was home at the time that this work was allegedly performed. I did not hear them, my German Shepherd did not hear
