Langston Companies

Langston Companies, Inc., was established in 1946. Moreover, we have evolved into a full service supplier of bags and packaging-related products and services. As a result, our family-owned, privately held company, has six manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and one in Mexico. Our product offerings include multi-wall paper sacks, cotton bale packaging, flexible intermediate bulk containers (bulk bags) and woven polypropylene bags.

While many changes have taken place over the years, the same spirit of excellence remains as much a part of the company today as it was in 1946. We started out as a recycling company which reprocessed and recycled burlap bags to package agricultural products. We expanded by acquiring the Mississippi Bag Company and the Pelican Bag Company then changed the name to Continental Bag Company.

Most people don't realize that Langston Companies was one of the first true "recyclers" in the U.S. Long before it was popular, we repurposed and recycled burlap bags to package agricultural products. Our commitment to recycling and positively contributing to a sustainable environment are still at the core of our beliefs today.
