The decision to immigrate to another country is never an easy choice, as one leaves everything familiar and embarks on a journey of hope. Indeed, Dr. Haska had to follow many roads that brought her to Independence. She was born in Bosnia and as a teenager, together with her family, found a new and permanent home in the United States.
There were many memorable firsts she recalls; the first English class, the first dental appointment, and of course first trip to McDonald's. And it was that first dental appointment that remained vivid all these years later. Slowly but surely, Dr. Haska found her passion in dentistry. She began her educational career at the University of Louisville, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology.

Northern Kentucky Pediatric Dentistry embraces parental presence during the appointment. Having parents involved in our initial visits enables our team and Dr. Haska to review over medical history, teach brushing/flossing techniques and to discuss any dental issues directly. Very rude office manager and Hannah was also very rude. They took payment of 535 dollars for services to be done and then came back and tried to charge another 1200 no services were ever performed finding a new dentist waiting for a refund at the moment. After picking up all receipts and records we got refunded 457 dollars of the 535 very unethical dental office. I will provide all pictures of receipts and refunds that was provided once all the legal issues are settled in court on December 29th.

This is one of the best pediatric clinics the tristate area. We don’t mind driving from Louisville to take our 7 year old for his dental needs. Dr. Haska Aljukic and her team are always there for any of our needs and they always accommodate our scheduling changes. The clinic is decorated in a way that every child feels welcome and special. We are recommending this clinic to all of our friends and they can’t thank us enough for the recommendation. Team Northern Kentucky Pediatric Dentistry rock!

I have four kids that all have been seen multiple times here. There is a wonderful dental assistant that works here. She is very kind and helpful. The dentist was kind and did a good job with 2 of my children however, the dentist was not great with my scared 4 year old or my 10 year old. My 10 year old has extreme anxiety around dental procedures in addition to sensory processing disorder. The dentist, Haska Aljukic was totally unsympathetic and went so far as to tell my daughter that she was overreacting, acting like a baby, and that she was scaring the other kids. This is the best pediatric dentist office you can take your kids to. The doctor is kind, caring, and does everything in her power to make sure the kiddos have the best dental experience. She is amazing with children that have special needs and takes her time with them. The staff is also the best and they make sure your kiddos are laughing and having the best time. I would highly recommend this office.

I can’t say enough about this place. They are so kind and gentle with my young children. All three of mine have been here. Seven, eight and four. They weren’t scared and left happy as can be and wanted to go back right away. All the staff we’re kind, respectful and very good with the kids. We haven’t had a single issue with this office or the services they have provided. I am very happy we chose Independence Pediatric Dentist!

My children received the last two strikes (3 for both kids all together during a pandemic) for a teeth cleaning that was scheduled 6 months in advance. I called and spoke to someone a week or so before the appointment to verify when it was. They had my 5 year old son scheduled 8 months out the following week to get all his bad teeth taken care of as they are hurting him. When I called to ask if there was an appointment next week they referred me to the other child’s appointment the following week and told me there was NO appointment next week, as I told them we were going to be out of town.
