I called Mobile Wash and Lube October 2019 to verify that they service the area of Pittsburgh I live. The Groupon ad suggested you call before purchasing. When I called Gary Banner said if I purchase through Groupon it will be a long time (over a month) before he can get to my car as he has many groupon customers. But,,,,, if I purchase directly through him, he will give me the Groupon rate and can service my car within days. It made sense to me that a business has to "balance" Groupon revenue with full price revenue to stay in business. I now see that he is using Groupon for FREE advertising and

Cleaning of interior was great, but exterior is not much better than going thru the car wash. Owner said that mud would need to be buffed out and go to a car repair shop for this????? I got a sponge and wiped it off! also no treatment applied to bumpers and rear view mirrors. A lot of money for a poor job.

I purchased a car detail package for my husband for his birthday. On 5/9/2019, I called to schedule an appointment for 6/19/2019 (the soonest available date!). I spoke with Gary, and he told me they would call closer the the date to give me an appointment time. I never received any call, so I called Gary on the day of the appointment to ask when they would show up. Well turns out, Gary had taken down my phone number incorrectly (by switching two of the digits) and never recorded my husbands phone number, even though it was given to him. He would not own up to this mistake, and even implied that

I am rating them only a five-star because there is not a ten-star. Definitely worth the money. Scheduled an appointment, they showed up on time, and both cars were done quickly and efficiently. The older one (2011) looked better than if it were being sold on a dealership lot. The other (2016) looked even better than when it was bought as a new car. The best rating: I will see them again this fall!

I called mobile wash and lube to have my vehicle detailed at my home. I spoke with the owner on the phone and he explained to me what they do and was very polite and professional. I was able to make an appointment for the next week and we scheduled a time that was convenient for me. They came to my house right on time and he had his crew begin work immediately. They were able to make my minivan look like new again. They removed all the dog hair and stains from the carpet. It was very convenient because I never had to leave my home. The whole process took about 2 hours. I was so excited I scheduled

Recently had my card detailed. The work was done at my workplace which made it very convenient for me. They were on time and the results were as promised. My car shines like like it was new! My windows haven't sparkled like this in years. Salt stains in my car mats that I have been unable to remove are gone. I highly recommend the services of Mobile Wash & Lube.

I bought a LivingSocial deal for a full car detail in April. I called to setup an appointment in late June, as the deal expired in mid-July. They weren't able to setup an appointment until late July, but Gary still honored the deal.
They arrived on time and the work that was done to the car was fantastic - like a brand new car! I will definitely recommend to friends.

Well, I purchased a voucher for a mobile detail for $99 through Living Social on April 2, 2015. First of all, there were no stipulations in the voucher about having to provide your own water and electricity source. We live in a third floor apartment. Secondly, they boast hours from early morning to evening seven days a week. As a working professional, obviously I am not at liberty to just "leave my car unlocked with keys on the floormat and detailed instructions on where the location of the car would be" as suggested by the owner Gary, who repeatedly insisted on an appointment during

If you want your car cleaned in any kind of time frame, do not use this service. I purchased a Groupon, and when I called to make an appt, I was told they would call me when they were in the area and could fit me in. I called them again 3 MONTHS later only to have them call me on a Sunday to say the were coming Monday morning. They also did not tell me that they would need access to a water and electric hookup. My biggest grievance after all that was that they left my garage a mess. They took apart my entire hose hook up that is wall mounted, and I have no clue how to put it all back together

My mom purchased a coupon for us from Angie's List and they just came today. Our family car was disgusting and I wasn't sure how clean it would get. It looks amazing! We now have a strict "no eating in the car" rule! Gary (the owner) was very nice and gave us a courtesy call reminder a few days prior with a specific time range. I wouldn't expect anything less from a Pittsburgher! We'll definitely use and recommend them in the future!

I purchased a living social deal for auto detailing. The owner Gary and I played phone tag for months. Every time I called, he was on a job and unable to make appointments at that time. When he would call back, I was teaching and unable to use the phone. I was waiting over a week for him to call me back (again) when I received a very nasty voicemail from him basically stating that he was sick and tired of me never answering my phone and not returning his calls. (Not true, I always called him back.) I happened to be on lunch break at work during this time and called him right back. I apologized

These men were efficient, friendly, and adaptable. When they arrived, we realized that (unbeknownst to me) the water hookup in my apartment building was not working correctly - but one of the gentlemen asked for a set of pliers, did a little problem solving, and had things working in no time. He was gracious and not at all annoyed by the situation. Overall, I was very impressed with their professionalism, and they did an excellent job on my car. I would use the Mobile Wash and Lube detailing service again.

They did a good job. I got the Living Social deal and was charged an additional $30 fee for my vehicle based on the fine print though. The reason this is prompting a 2 star review is because the gentleman who detailed my vehicle poured over the deal coupon while I stood there until finally deciding how to assess me an additional fee.
I would have been slightly annoyed but much more understanding if he had told me upfront about the charge as this would have made it more credible in my eyes. Instead it seemed like he was just looking for an excuse to charge me extra because of my deal purchase.
