Beautiful hotel. All decorated for Christmas. We did not realize when booking online that the actual hotel rooms were in a separate building, but the rooms were very comfortable and modern. Breakfast was traditional southern fare. Might come back just to tour all the beautiful old churches in the area.

So impressed! Arrived after dark, checked in at the Carriage House, and found the hotel room very clean and pleasant. So refreshing! Wonderful discovery in the morning with the delicious, hot breakfast in a beautifully restored historic home! Wow!!! Christmas decorations were so pretty!! Don't miss this gem!! Such a pleasant experience! Wish more businesses preserved history while also moving forward! Very convenient to locally owned restaurant options in downtown too!

Nice, clean room with all the amenities that I could need. The staff was super and the room rate was extremely reasonable. The small bar area that is open to guests is really nice, relaxing, and well stocked. Great local beer and some terrific bourbons. This is definitely my go to when visiting the area.
