TerX Shredding & Recycling Co. LLCis a family owned and operated company founded in 2013. We also offer free on-sight inspection and price quotes for your scrap. At TerX Shredding & Recycling we are environmentally conscious and abide by all state and federal laws and regulations.
Our scrap yard is on a clean paved surface, which allows us to keep vehicles and scrap metals free of dust, dirt and mud. Our facility also has a new 75' truck scale for weighing trucks and trailers. This eliminates the need for split and dropped trailer weights; in turn giving our customers a more accurate weight for their scrap metal.

I visited this place for the first time today. The only thing I would suggest is some signage for the scale entrance, etc. I wasn't sure the procedure they prefer, but it wasn't too hard to figure out once I found the scale. I seen a bunch of negative reviews so I was apprehensive about using this place, but it was just fine.

I got ripped off on my 33 lbs of copper said it was unclean. Also told me my 21 lbs of brass was mixed. Had a great experience with the older gentleman my first visit. Not at all the second time with the shorter guy with glasses. Did not explain what was wrong with my material. I have been scrapping a long time and check everything thoroughly before coming in. Felt very disrespected. I bring in over $300 of precious metals and get ripped off the second time around.

Very disappointed. We went Friday after the 4th, the 5th of July and according to Facebook you were closed for the 4th and opened for the 5th. So we loaded up our stuff and left only to find that you were closed. So we came home and to unload. This was our only free day, because of your hours you are closed when we get done with work. I used to be very pleased with you, but this is disappointing.

All transactions I've had with them have worked out just fine and usually fair on pricing for the area. Once I brought in a Pacifica and forgot the battery, I had removed the tires and the original cat was still on it. So the took the vehicle and I had my wife bring them a battery on Monday and they honored full price. Very happy with there employees and service.

We had 2 large scrap bins (1 full of sheet aluminum, 1 full of scrap steel) from our business and we were told that the bin full of aluminum wasn’t worth anything because the bin had too much other stuff mixed in (which was 100% not true-it was only sheet aluminum). Our 2 full bins were worth a whopping $99- which took over a month to get. We will never do business with them again.
