Services
Music is the easiest part of our work. It's our seamless flow of the entire night that will keep your guests always wanting more. No two DJs are the same. We are not about props or line dances, however, we are about your guests having a great time (and a little dancing never hurts). Although we will choose some songs in advance based on your liking, our style usually depends on your family and friends' response.
Ever been to a wedding ceremony and couldn't hear the vows? We all have. The ceremony is THE most important part of your day! Period. We have subtle and unobtrusive techniques (no microphones on stands or in hands) to allow ALL of your guests (even Aunt Betty in the back row) to hear you state the most important words of your life - your vows.
We're not into bright strobing dots on your guests, or turning your event into a nightclub (unless you want us to); we simply will enhance your venue's natural beauty and highlight it's architecture and your dance floor. Simply put, we will wash the dance floor and ceiling with color. No lighting will be used during your first dance (your photographer will appreciate that).

Chris Marx was an absolute joy to work with! He was extremely attentive, caring, fun, and knew exactly what he was doing. Chris was able to create and hold the different moods we were trying to achieve throughout different parts of our wedding. His overall knowledge of his trade made it very easy to plan the soundtrack of our wedding. Even after all of the planning Chris was able to make quick decisions during the wedding to make everything run smoothly. Overall Chris was the best DJ we could have chosen for our wedding and really made our wedding wonderful.

I have used Marx Event Group in the past, and was extremely happy when I showed up to a wedding tonight and saw he was the DJ! No detail was left out, not a single person in their seat, everyone was on the… dance floor! I cannot express how amazing Chris was for our daughters wedding this past weekend. Everything from his online planning tools for all the pre-wedding info to his performance at the wedding were top notch. I never had to worry about anything, he had it all covered. He is very knowledgeable at what he does and extremely personable. Felt like he was part of the family. His read on the crowd kept our guests dancing all night long.

We used Chris for our wedding recently and can not give him enough praise. We knew we wanted to work with him as soon as we first talked to him. He really listened to what we wanted and had great suggestions on how to accomplish it. We had the good fortune to know Chris prior to our engagement, I say good fortune because he was one thing our guests couldn’t stop talking about. From planning, to ceremony, to reception Chris was on top of everything, helping the flow and coordination of our event and festivities.
