I'm a double board certified interventional sports, spine, & pain management physician with traumatic brain injury training and a masters in nutrition. Dr. von Tobel is double boarded in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain management and soon to be triple boarded in sport medicine. He has specialty training in traumatic brain injury, ultrasound-guided injections as well as multiple interventional and minimally invasive operative procedures of the spine and musculoskeletal system.
Medical services are provided and billed by Athena. Our providers participate in most all of the major health insurance plans in the region. Following are the health plans which we currently accept. If your plan is not listed, we will be unable to file a claim on your behalf. However, we can provide you with a form that you can submit to your insurance company to instruct them to send reimbursements directly to you.

I can't say enough good things about this place! The entire staff was wonderful! Dr. Von Tobel treated me like a human being and actually took the time to listen to me. After nearly a year of being treated terribly at Coastal Spine, I am so glad I found this place! After just one visit, I already have a procedure scheduled for tomorrow!! š Dr. Von Tobel made a point to help ease my pain so I can enjoy my cruise this weekend. I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you truly want someone to help make you better instead of just putting a bandaid on the problem. š

I have had a number of pain doctors and Dr. Von Tobel is by FAR the best doctor Iāve ever had! He actually wants to help me get better and not stay on addicting medicines that our country is riddled with! I HIGHLY recommend this doctor! The greatest part is his educational degrees. He has had so many earned degrees, certificates and courses I canāt list them all here. I am VERY Grateful to him and his staff for looking out for me the way he does!

Wrong account my name is Jennifer š¤£ but Dr. Von Tobel is the best pain dr Iāve ever had. As someone born with problems with my hips requiring the use of braces before I could walk and then a car accident adding on top of that pain, I have been to several pain drs. Most just want to throw addictive pain medication at you & coat the pain without treating it. I for one donāt like being a zombie. I prefer a dr that is Serious and informative when necessary but completely understanding and attentive. He has met all of my needs as a pain physician and worked to help me be a better mom for my kids

Dr Von Toble and his staff are great! Friendly and courteous and always respectful. I recently had a procedure done and I was nervous, They explained the entire process with me before and during. I received a nerve block for sciatic nerve pain that had been unrelentingly for months. The medical staff and technicians were professional, knowledgeable , skilled and kept me informed and comfortable throughout the procedure. Great service Iām not into going to doctors but when I had to Iām glad I was directed to Florida Pain Specialist. Dr Von Tobel has a friendly personality which makes your visit smooth. Before I knew it I was getting my procedure and still hurting but not as much. And I had to keep up with my exercise to get strength back. Iām again thankful I went. If you need to go donāt hesitate.
