Services
We at Winzerwald Winery build our lives around family, friends, and community. We invite you to share in our German family heritage and become a friend of Winzerwald Winery and a fan of Winzerwald's German-inspired wines. Our great, great grandfather Jakob Loesch was a cooper (wine barrel maker) in Germany and brought wine grapes when he came to America in the 1800s.
Winzerwald's German inspired wines arise out of the owner's German heritage and the rich German heritage of this region, and for that matter most of the Midwest. Wines produced include those typically grown in or near Germany including Pinot Meunier, Blaufrnkisch, Gewrztraminer, Riesling, Grner Veltliner, and Zweigelt.
Most of these stores carry a limited selection of Winzerwald wines. Ask your local retailer to talk to theirJohnson Brothers sales rep to order our wines if you cannot find them near you. For questions about carrying Winzerwald Wines or details about where to find our wines contact Erik McQueeney, the Indiana Wine representative at Johnson Brothers by emailing kmcqueeney@johnsonbrothers.com.
Located inside the Winzerwald Winery tasting room, the restaurant features German-inspired foods including flatbreads, shareable charcuterie plates, baked Bavarian pretzels & mustard, along with paired wine & food flights including four flatbreads, wine truffles or Midwest artisan cheeses paired with four carefully selected complementary wines.
Winzerwald offers a variety of choices to present your wines as gifts to those special to you. Corporate, wedding and special gifts can be created by adding a special photo or message sticker to any Winzerwald wine. To discuss design and prices, call the Winery weekdays Tuesday through Friday, 10:00-5:00 Central time.

I love it! I hadn't been here in years, but the friendly atmosphere hasn't changed. They have soooo many options for wine tastings that it's almost as hard picking a tasting style as picking through the great wines! My brothers and I enjoy visiting here and always go home with some bottles of good wines.

They have menu, but only the elite can order cooked food. We were told they were “to busy” to cook anything in the kitchen or take out items from the fridge for charcuterie board. But the party after us was another story. Then multiple wines that were selected for tasting were wrong. We were able to get the pretzel that was “fresh” baked, it was so hard we couldn’t even break it in half to try it. They said “we will give you your money back” when the time came, they again were “to busy” to provide a refund. As well as forgot the simple block of cheese and crackers that were ordered
