Pools that experience a lot of debris, sun tanning oils, animals, huge bather loads or heavy weather may put a constant stress on internal filter parts. In 2018, the Department of Energy (DOE) received a petition to issue a final ruling of energy conservation standards for dedicated-purpose pool pump (DPPP) motors. Dedicated meaning "Main Filter" Pumps used to push thousands of gallons of water, through the pool's filter only. The new Federal mandates would apply to both entire Main Filter Pumps (a pump and motor set) and Main Pool Filter "Motors" specifically.
We have been a client of Aqua Clean for more than three years and are extremely happy with the services that they provide. They were not only able to get me scheduled on short notice but they did an incredible job for a great price. You actually get to speak to someone when you call and they treat you extremely well unlike larger pool companies which treat you more like a number and aren't even local to the area. Needless to say they've won my business moving forward for all of my pool service.

Scott and his team at Aqua Clean were outstanding! After the arctic freeze in February I couldn't find a pool repair service to come out and repair the damage to my pool equipment. Incompetent service. Called them for a service call about a burst pipe inside a heater after the freeze. The technician they sent told me that he does not have any experience with pool heaters and would not even look at the heater. He offered me to sell me a new heater for close to $2K. $90 wasted for nothing. Opened the heater myself, did my research, ordered parts and fixed it myself. All for less than $150. Will not use that company again.

Great service. I called Friday afternoon after arriving home from vacation and discovering that both our main pump and booster pump had stopped working. Scott promptly called back that evening and came out Saturday morning. He diagnosed the problem and two new pumps were installed Sunday afternoon. We are also having them do weekly cleaning for our newly renovated pool. 100% recommend Scott and his team.

My family is new to the Dallas area and we are new homeowners with a pool and spa for the first time. The one good thing I'll say is that Scott got his phone on a Sunday other than that, this guy was just plain rude. I am in sales and he basically tried to explain to me how business worked wanted me to commit to spending over $100 for a simple stop by and then a "pool school" for even more. When I tried to explain my situation to him, he hung up on me. Stay away from this angry person! He is unprofessional and RUDE.
