We are lucky to call the Bay Area home and are honored to design and manufacture all Cayson garments in our San Francisco workshop since 1992. Cayson is the standard for quality, and we are confident our garments will stand the test of time. Our team is passionate about designing for style, comfort, and functionality while delivering exceptional customer service.
Logan Ely, the Chef/Owner of The Lucky Accomplice has joined forces with Cayson to create this dynamic, functional, and colorful new apron collection. Chef Ely brought inspiration from an ultra-hip mood board featuring durable, edgy, modern elements. He also had specific, practical ideas, that he wanted to incorporate, including a unique and specific pocket for a cake tester.
The Slim Bib Apron Collection was designed to be a budget friendly option with smaller dimensions that also allow for ease of movement. Each Apron has a convenient double pen pocket with double needle top-stitching and comfortable cotton webbing, adjustable neck and waist ties. Whether it's in the kitchen, the shop, or at home, you'll look great in these featured slim bib apron styles.
This is a collaboration between Cayson and California chef and philanthropist, Chef Rachel Aronow. Chef Aronow and Cayson President, Karie La Mountain, met at a CUESA Sunday Supper Event in San Francisco in early 2017. Chef had some very specific design ideas for a functional, practical and comfortable bib apron.
Legendary chef and restaurateur, Chris Cosentino, has been a longtime supporter, client and friend of Cayson Designs. Over the years, Chef Chris has collaborated with the Cayson Designs Team to create some very specific and unique apron designs. Along with Chris' apron design concepts, he also approached Cayson Designs with a distinctive fabric he wanted us to source.

What an amazing company. I had a slight challenge with shipping and one of their customer service reps immediately responded with some helpful ways to resolve. I wanted to give 5 stars, and I truly love the aprons I purchased. One thing, as a chef my attention to detail is much more then someone who is not. I ordered three aprons, charcoal colored with black webbing, I was sent charcoal aprons with charcoal webbing. Plus one does not have the cayson design tag on the front left pocket. Again not a big deal, but it was not what I ordered. The fit and design are wonderful. I will buy more just wanted to communicate my first experience with you.......

I've worked with Cayson Designs for 10+ years because the quality of their clothes. When schlepping for hours on end one simply needs to wear high quality as it keeps you going. Prior to Cayson we all had to wear 60/40 poly/cotton and it simply wasn't pretty in a hot professional kitchen at the end of the day.
Since Cayson Designs, my life in a hot kitchen has never been the same. I feel great and comfortable in a CD chef's coat. AND, I look good too.
In the big picture, these coats are inexpensive. They last much longer than any other coat I've ever used in 25+ years.

You work in a restaurant 10-15 hours a day. Two things everyone should do. The first is change your socks. Seriously, I know your busy. I am too. But change your socks. It's like starting fresh. It's like coffee for your toes. I'm even thinking about getting a second set of kicks, for total daily refreshment.
The second thing you gotta do is get your coats from Cayson Design. They fit perfect. Egyptian pima cotton is the only cotton for me. And they last. When your girlfriend or boyfriend asks you for a good gift idea, tell them about Cayson. Super friendly sales people
