Services
In late 1984, Joe and Linda "Skippy" Fisher embarked on a new adventure. With assistance from their family, they began remodeling the lower level of their home to begin their first Adult Foster Home (AFH). They opened their flagship senior care home, Country Gardens Senior Residence in 1985, followed the next year by The Townhouse.
Country Gardens is a senior residence that has been providing quality care to seniors since 1986. We take great pride in providing personalized care in a homey environment. Country Gardens is located three miles south of Coquille. The quiet pastoral setting includes a pond and island that attracts wild ducks, geese, herons, and even the occasional otter and beaver.
There are many different types of senior care and it can be confusing keeping all of them straight. Adult foster home care is the step between living mostly independently at home and requiring skilled nursing care. Many people are able to age in place in their own homes by relying on family and friends to assist them with activities of daily living - such as shopping, cleaning the house or assistance with showering.

Every town should be so fortunate to have such a residence for their senior community members. Fantastic set up and over-the-top friendly and caring folks.
I had an occasion to tour the property and meet and greet the folks, and was incredibly impressed at every turn. The grounds are impeccable! Clean and manicured, the landscaping is simply stunning!
What a wonderful option right here in little ol' Coquille. Fantastic setting for a restful and extraordinary finish to life.
If I had to go into a "home" this would definitely be my number one choice. It's fantastic.
