From a childhood business of building storage sheds with his family, to establishing a custom cabinet shop 20 years later, Pete Swita has been excelling at woodworking most of his life. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1985 with a degree in engineering and worked in the wood window industry while enjoying his side job of cabinetmaking.
He now owns a flourishing business creating custom cabinets and more near Wausau, Wisconsin. In the spring of 2005, Pete and his wife, Karla, built a new manufacturing facility and showroom in Mosinee. With a team of talented cabinetmakers, Swita Cabinetry has gained a solid reputation for custom cabinets in Wisconsin and beyond.
