Permanent makeup or Micropigmentation is a semi-invasive procedure that enhances your natural features, without giving a "made-up" look. Permanent makeup gives you the advantage of looking natural, only better, even when not wearing conventional makeup. Perfectly applied permanent eyeliner brings out the beauty of your eyes by highlighting and enhancing its shape.
Microblading also known as microstroking is a relatively new manual method of semi-permanent makeup. It is an advanced brow embroidery technique whereby a superfine row of needles is used to create thin, hair-like marks on the skin through manual process of inserting pigment into the upper layers of skin to create the desired fullness and shape of the eyebrows.

Called made appointment because you could not book online. Lady answers, sounds like home phone not biz. She had zero communication skills. When we got there they told us the microdermobrasion machine was broke. I was supposed to get a body treatment that was at least 60 mins. Got 30 mind. Didn't communication my request to spa tech. My husband got the massage special. Was to get 15 min free foot or scalp but didn't. I was done early because my session was incorrect. I paid mine and my husband's and they refused to let him leave without putting up tip. Bad service person and won't go back. Want

Came here for a couples massage, scrub, with champagne and chocolates.
My husband and I were surprised by how much we enjoyed the scrub experience- we left with our skin feeling soft and smooth.
The massage was excellent and our respective masseuse ensured they were meeting the appropriate pressure and type of massage we would enjoy best.
The little underwear didn't fit either of us well- like they were made for very thin men/women both, which made us a bit uncomfortable- but manageable.
We left feeling relaxed and pampered.
We do feel the services were a tad pricey for what they

Very good value for the price in midtown. The staff are friendly and my massage therapist was attentive to my comfort throughout without being annoying or distracting. The office/space is small and simple, but still soothing, attractive and clean.
Two things to note:
Can be hard to find, it's not obvious where the entrance is from either information on Google maps or their website. (It's through what looks like a residential building entrance that's recessed)
Not completely soundproof. Wasn't an issue during my treatment, seems like they time start/stop of clients to coincide

This is the worst place to go for massages (especially deep tissue) that I've been to in Manhattan--and I've been to dozens. The masseuse had no idea what she was doing, performing the same 2 light strokes for 50 minutes. She didn't ask if I needed more pressure or how it was. I tried to tell her where to concentrate but there was no English. She just did whatever she wanted. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because they were (from what I could tell) clean and reasonably nice. The sandals and robe were actually painful to wear. For massages instead try Haven Spa for the same price. My

Had a very positive experience here - the staff are helpful and the therapist was very good at being attentive to pressure, pain points, ticklishness and temperature without distracting from the relaxation of the massage. The environment is simple, clean and soothing. And the cost/value is excellent. Only two little negatives - it's a little difficult to figure out which is the right entrance the first time you go and there was a little bit of sound bleed from the nearby rooms.

Love love love ! Had a great experience here during spa week . Went for a body massage & Shannel was my masseuse and she was amazing !! She was professional, beautiful , and rubbed my tense spots ridiculously. I felt so relieved after the massage , I will definitely come back just for her ! The room also was clean , and calming despite it being in the busy city .

My husband surprised me with a trip to this spa to celebrate our 10 years Anniversary. We were there for our couple massages and the experience was 50/50. This spa is located in a building behind one of the apartments. At first I felt like I was doing something bad because it doesn't give off spa like feel. We rang the buzzer and an older lady open up. Behind those closed door was a very inviting atmosphere. There were candles, spa music, dim lighting; very inviting. The receptionist was ok. She didn't give off nothing special. The place is very SMALL but very pretty. My husband and I

Had the couples massage with champagne and chocolate for two deal. The massages were ok, except that they rub your feet and then rub the rest of your body? Ew.
We were ushered out into a cold and drafty hallway, still in our robes, for the champagne and chocolate. Champagne was like juice and chocolate was beyond cheap.
Overall, I had a bad experience. With tip, for $250 and to be in a claustrophobic environment with mediocre services was appalling to me. Save your time and money and go to a real spa. Not a doctors office turned into a money making machine facility like this one.

After walking all over the city on vacation both my husband and I were feeling a bit of pain. Decided, on a whim, to go to Faina for massages. They were fantastic and this is a rating from a massage enthusiast. My husband said he would consider flying there from Seattle to get a massage! Not ultra fancy, but pleasant and relaxing. They helped make our vacation all the more delightful.

Let's start by saying I've never given a 1 star rating before. I once saw a mouse scurry across a restaurant and gave 2 stars because I liked the drinks. Maybe I'm a part of the trophy generation, who knows.
First, I was skeptical how I could get a last minute couples massage and further skeptical from the 2.5 star rating but my gf had a stressful work week and so I booked a 4:30 pm couples massage on a Sunday. I had to prepay but that was fine.
They gave the hard sell to show up 15 minutes early in order to get everything ready by 4:30. I showed up at 4:00 pm and at 4:15 pm asked
