I hired them for an epically huge job that every other mason in NW Washington was afraid of.
Full re-point, and re-cap of 6 40 year old natural stone chimneys on a 12/12 roof pitch.
They did what they said they would do and cleaned up the mess when they were done. The chimneys look great and don't leak.
Would hire again in a heartbeat.

Powers Chimney and Masonry Company just completed an outstanding quality job for a new masonry chimney at our family beach home on Camano Island. They contacted us soon after our request for an estimate. After our free estimate, they answered all of our questions completely, to help us decide the best option for our problem which was a cracked and leaking chimney. We appreciated the great communication skills of their office manager from start to finish. The project was completed to our satisfaction within the given time frame. We are very happy with the finished product and highly recommend this

We had this company come out to sweep our chimney. Their representative said we needed a new liner because there was evidence of a flue fire and new chimney above the roofline. We had to wait over a month to have them back out to do the work.
When they took our chimney top off, they loosened the pipe that connects to the stove insert. The guy that spoke with us that day said we didn’t actually need a new liner and that they didn’t even install them in chimneys like ours. He took the surround cover off our stove and said it had been installed incorrectly and that there was a new part he would

I was trying to get some work down and I got so frustrated after three days that I hired some one else. The man who came to do the estimate didn't have a form, but wanted to just write something on a piece of paper. I needed an "official" estimate for my insurance company. I finally got a price, but was told I would have to call back to the office for scheduling. OK, I did that, but it seemed to be beyond their capability to schedule this. When I requested and "official estimate" for the insurance company, she had to talk "to the owner" about it and call me back. Got that part taken care of, so

We were in the process of selling our house when a gully wash storm washed out loose 50 year motar. The Powers company's bid was the most reasonable and was in line with our closing date. We entered in a contract with them. The work was done in one day and in the most professional workmanship. We highly recommend this company.
