Founded by a mother and son team, The Lakes Treatment Center offers compassionate, service-oriented substance abuse and addiction treatments in Modesto and the surrounding areas. Our staff comprises compassionate, experienced, and highly qualified counselors, nurses, residential advisors, and intake specialists, all of whom work together to provide the personalized care, attention, and support our clients need.
At The Lakes we offer 30, 60, 90 or longer if needed drug and/or alcohol residential treatment programs. Our professionally trained staff is experienced in treating all types of drug and alcohol addiction. Drugs that people are addicted to and we commonly treat are: Opiates like Heroin, Cocaine, Meth, Pain Pills/Prescriptions, any drug in combination with alcohol, and many more.

In 2019 I went to The Lakes Treatment center for 40 days. I was scared and nervous because I didn't know what to expect. I never thought in my life I would seek help for my addiction in any facility.

The lakes treatment center is an amazing place and always has your best interest at heart, they've done so many things for me during my drug addiction trying to get me help, and I always made the worst of it. After sobriety I realized that all these people really stood by me and my family and theres not enough thanks I can give them for what they did for my parents when I was nothing like myself... Words can not describe how horrible this place is. They only care about charging you a small fortune for nothing. The location is disgusting the room full of mold and filthy. The food was far from what a patient needs to help get strong and healthy after detoxing. The staff were very unprofessional the Owner herself contacted us and gave out another patients personal information she also gave another patients mother our personal contact information without our permission. my son had only 2 counseling visits in 45 days there. He said that there was nothing positive about the location and the care

A person I dearly love was on the verge of dying. They truly saved him! This place helped him with his addiction and mental aspects of things. It's a true one stop shop! Anyone who has a loved one or an addiction this is the place to go! It's a beautiful location. They have counselors, nurses, doctors, an amazing phychologist, a telephychiatrist. I attended a 30 day program here, it was definitely a life saving experience for myself. Good counselors and a atmosphere for recovery. Being by the lake was definitely a plus. They assisted beyond addictive disorders and assisted me into a way of sober living. Grateful to be alive and doing something with my life.

This whole summer I was an activities director at The Lakes Treatment center. I am a college student working towards my BA in psychology and working at this treatment center taught me a lot. I gained so much experience that can only be gained hands on. In the summer the residents have access to the pool, table tennis, an on sight gym, yoga and meditation, card games, fishing, have the opportunity to go to the movies, board games, kayaking, art classes, tubing and wake surfing.
