Originally from New York, Kristin Wilmes was in the wholesale seafood industry for eight years before coming to California. Drawn to the West Coast for surf and sand, Wilmes took his cold chain management experience and went to work for a San Diego-based trucking company. It didn't take long to recognize the opportunity to create a reliable coastal transport business.
Our goal is simple: to gain your trust and turn you into a life-long customer by consistently transporting your shipments on schedule to their destinations. We built our coastal transport business on meticulous cold chain management. On August 27th. At 5:30 pm. A teal truck with KS Transportation labeled on the side was in the slow-moving Lane. It was a merge lane. We were in front of this truck trying to get onto the highway with our blinker on with other cars doing the same speed in front of us. This truck decided to lay on its horn and honk at us for a solid 2 minutes and tailgate within one foot of our car. Not only did we feel extremely unsafe but the driver himself did not seem to care about the safety of the road. He continued to honk at us even after we merged and decided to give us two beeps as he passed by us. When
