Dr. Samarin grew up in a small town just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He feels his most important jobs are being a husband and parenting his three children. In addition, he absolutely loves being a dermatologist. He earned his medical degree at MCP/Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia.

Dr. Samarin started Mountaintop Dermatology after separating from the United States Air Force in 2012.
I hadn't been to a dermatologist and was very happy with this facility. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming when I walked through the door and my visit continued that way. The medical assistant went over everything with me and I was given every opportunity to ask questions. They had already answered all my questions and concerns.
The goal of our practice is to deliver on our simple idea: Provide an exceptional experience for our patients and staff. We accomplish this by valuing others and treating them how we would like to be treated. Having all team members focused on this idea is critical to our success. Each and every individual plays a role in delivering on this vision.

Amazing medical office. LOVE all the staff.
Dr. Samarin is one of the best doctors I have seen he listened to me and didn't rush through my appointment. The assistants are very professional and really know what they are doing.
I met the manager when I checked in for my appointment she was so sweet and took the time to talk to me because I was anxious about being there.
I highly recommend the clinic to anyone who needs to see a Dermatologist.

Doctor is fantastic! Brittany at the front desk is fantastic! The “practice manager” and her son are another story. Josh a employee there was extremely unprofessional, I asked to speak to whomever is in charge as I didn’t want to hold the doctor up from seeing other patients. I was engaged by a lady named Susie who said she was the practice manager. I spoke of my issues with Josh, to which her reply was that was not only a employee there but also her son and she doesn’t believe that he would have behaved in such a manner. Sounds like mixing personal and business is not a good thing.

Dr Samarin and his team are wonderful! Two visits and my acne is gone. One of his Medical Assistants helped me with setting up a mail pharmacy order, which was a new process to me; he was very patient and kind, and answered all my questions. Dr Samarin listened to my concerns about a history of skin cancer and very graciously inspected a few spots for my peace of mind. I would highly recommend Dr Samarin and his office to anyone!

I was very nervous going in, but I was immediately at ease once inside the examining room! Dr. Samarin and the gentleman with him were extremely courteous and patient with me having been informed of my anxiety of being in a doctor’s office! . Dr. Samarin explained each step before actually doing it! I felt nothing!
The whole staff in the clinic is very social and friendly which is why our son and my husband are patients here!
