Prior to each permanent makeup procedure, the placement of pigments will be discussed and agreed upon. There is very little discomfort in most permanent makeup procedures. A topical anesthetic or a local anesthetic may be applied under the supervision of a doctor. After a permanent makeup procedure there will be a slight swelling and redness of the skin, which will subside quickly.

Ashley Swain Permanent Makeup offers lip liner, permanent eyeliner, permanent eyebrow, tattoo removal, scar revision & areola restoration permanent makeup procedures.
Gently Cleanse the intradermal cosmetic area with a mild antibacterial soap. You may rinse with water and lightly pat the area dry. Use a clean cotton swab to apply Petroleum/Aquaphor sparingly twice a day for seven days following the procedure (do not use your fingertips).Use sterile bandages and dressings when necessary (mainly for areola procedures).
A wonderful permanent makeup experience. Ashley did my permanent eyebrows and permanent eyeliner. I love it, I could not be happier with the natural appearance of the results. Ashley spent a lot of time working with me to find the exact color and shape the was perfectly suited for me. She is a true artist and a real professional.

It did not seem to matter what shape eyebrow I wanted. She did what she wanted and for my age, it is a disaster. The follow up was also a mistake as I have grey hair and very dark eyebrows. Eye lining was also an expensive loss. The first visit, she lined the rims of my eyes. The next morning all of the ink was in my eyes.=, and had to be washed out. Second visit, dye was correctly placed slightly above and below the lashes but most of it did not take. I am left with two sploches in the corner of one eye and SOME eyeline. I no longer felt confident enough for a third visit. I don't

March 3 of this year I took my daughter on her birthday for Microblading. My daughter has a medical condition that caused her to lose her brows and lashes. She had Ashley do her eyebrows. We followed all instructions given on the care. This picture taken was 3 days later I gave my daughter time to heal because I wanted to see the final results. She was put off until I called and let the office know I was dissatisfied. I showed pictures of of my daughter before she lost her eyebrows and was told by Ashley she could fix it! After she FIXED the brows It looks just as bad and not natural at all

I love my permanent makeup!!!! Ashley was the most educated, experienced and kind technician. She didn't rush any part of my treatment- I loved that we got to really discuss the look I wanted. During treatment, Ashley was very sensitive to my needs and kept me distracted by telling me funny stories. As somebody who gets tattoos and is somewhat accustomed to the pain level (this is definitely different in many ways but the process is comparable), I did not request any numbing further than topical. She was super aware of my comfort and worked in an efficient fashion. The office is very very clean

Excruciatingly painful procedure. Bloody scabs fell off and with them the color of the eyebrows. Had to go back two more times and extra $100 each time to correct this with more pain and more bloody scabs it took about a month for it to heal after all three visits.
I was left with red irritated itchy skin above my eyebrows.
I inquired several times to find out what solution she used on the skin above the eyebrows so that I can tell a doctor so I can obtain medicine to treat the affected area.

Years ago, I had a horrible, painful, bloody experience with permanent make up at a plastic surgeons office and was afraid to try it again. So, I only went to Ashley after doing a lot of research on the internet, but I was still scared! She was completely amazing!! Not only was the procedure completely painless, but Ashley and Christina made the session fun and relaxing. They both have exceptional personalities and give the best customer service. I LOVE my new brows and eyeliner!! I give Ashley the highest recommendation and will forever be a life-long customer!!

I wouldn't go to anyone else!! Ashley is a true master of her craft! I had my eyebrows done just over a year ago and had recently came in for the final touch up and could not be happier! I have areas of my brow that doesn't grow and I had to fill them in every day. It always took extra time in my routine and then it's constantly wearing off and needing touched up. Now I never have to worry about them at all. They are always looking exactly how I want, even at the beach! I am obsessed with my new brows! Ashley is seriously the best! If you're thinking about doing microblading you have to go to her. She explains everything to you and makes the process enjoyable. She makes sure that the shape and color are to your liking before she does anything. She is very patient and precise with each part of the brow. Ashley is a true master of art! To be able to wake up to perfect brows is a dream come true! I am so glad I chose to do this and definitely so so happy I chose Ashley.

Ashley Swain had great reviews which is why I had chose her to do my permanent eyebrows almost a year ago. I thought I was chosing the best but boy was I wrong. I love the girls at MD Beauty Lab and wish I could give them 5 stars but after getting my eyebrows done, no way! Ashley doesn't listen to her clients needs. I specifically requested natural looking brows as I rarely where make-up. When I explained that I liked the look of hairstrokes she told me that it would look like a "basket weave" and discouraged me. I should have know then that it was simply because she just didn&apos

As a Registered Nurse, I should have researched better but I decided on permanent lip liner/color based on price. The price was awesome but the quality of work was horrible. For months, I tried to cover it or use darker lip-liner but I was simply self-conscious and embarrassed.
So, I did my research and found Ashley Swain, an artist and true professional. She fully explained the process during my initial consult. My damage required tattoo removal rather than just repair. My process took 4 visits... 3 visits

I can't say enough wonderful things about Ashley. She's been doing my permanent makeup since 2000. I fly in from Dallas just to have her do it, and I've had several other Dallas friends fly in as well just for a day only to get permanent makeup from her. Ashley is very warm and friendly, and was seemingly the best when I chose her. I wish I could give her 5 stars but after she did my mother's eyebrows I feel that she may be lacking in experience with ethnic faces. English is my mother's second language but she explained adequately what look she was going for and I was there to help. My mother has hated her eyebrows since the day they were done, and has spent the past several months covering them up with concealer and drawing on the eyebrows that she had described would look best on her Asian face. She has even looked into laser removal

I'm not typically a "do your makeup every day" kind of girl, so permanent makeup is a great alternative for me! I heard about Ashley Swain through a coworker, and am very impressed with her professionalism and her vast experience in this field. She's so knowledgeable about the process, and I've been completely impressed by her work. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my permanent makeup!

I don't understand the review I just read and had to post a response. PLEASE do not make your decision to consult with Ashley based on that review. She has done my brows and my lips as well as several others I've referred. She is professional and what I consider to be an expert at her craft. She goes over everything she is going to do beforehand including colors and her procedure, so you can decide ahead of time if you are interested. I think she is amazing and have and would refer her again and again.
