I gotta say, I will DEFINITELY be returning for more products! I decided to start my own skincare routine and I came across the brand Origins. I was a bit skeptical at first because I had absolutely NO idea what to use for my face since it was my first time and I've never had a skincare routine before, so obviously I had SOO many questions. I stopped here during the holiday season to try to find a gift for a friend.
I did find the gift, but I also found a lovely young lady working the counter who encouraged me to explore more products!
I wish I remembered her name, but, she did mentioned she normally works at the UTC location; I might just stop there on my next run.
The store itself looks inviting, although small, they have long shelves displaying product, and the decor has a touch of lab-like feel.
I can't wait to be back, I love their products.

I have been struggling with eczema for the past three years. During the holidays I was traveling from Sacramento to San Jose to San Diego and the change of weather was harsh on my skin. I had my first major eczema break out all over my face and seriously did not know what to do. I had gone to ulta the day before and tried asking for some help but one of the girls was so condescending and judgmental of my red and raw face that I didn't even want to be in the store anymore. The customer service of this store was so below my standards, as comparing them to my go-to Origins store from where I used to live. I felt very rushed and they were out of most samples. Ive been buying all my products from them for about 10 years, so it felt frustrating to be sold to and have products pushed at me instead of them asking what Im looking for and my skin type/needs. The products are still amazing and I truly believe in them, but this store was a huge disappointment in service.

Rude lady ( blonde lady with a bob haircut, possibly the Mgr)who did my return and tried to mask the lecture with a pleasant tone. Just because you say things in a sickly sweet tone does make you any nicer. I returned an unused foundation and unused eyeshadow that she went on to lecture me that they will have to throw them out now. Great. Not my problem but both were never opened. She advised me that next time I should get samples. Well, it was for someone else who changed their mind. I will not be back!!! Please don't lecture someone for several minutes before doing a return. Horrible customer experience during return!!!
My wife only wanted to stop in and return an unopened item at the beginning of our night out at the mall. We were just out for a nice holiday shopping night, and the manager was so unprofessional. She could not stop saying how my wife should have taken a sample and tried it first, instead of buying and returning the item. It was "unopened"! She changed her mind after finding something else that worked great for her.
It wasn't like she was blatant or yelling, but her backhanded comments and seething sarcasm was incredibly rude and

I really like the Origins brand. I have oily skin, and they have really great products for helping reduce the shine on a daily basis.
I have tried many of their items, but my fave Origins product is the Super Spot Remover ($15). It's a .3oz bottle of miracle zit zapper for those pesky stress pimples. One application and you see a dramatic difference the next day.
Yes it's $$$ for a small tiny bottle, but beauty is priceless!!!

Lindsáy was so helpful and provided the best suggestions regarding skincare and make up for my skin. She's very approachable and is an asset to this company. I'm not the type that wears make up, but she made the experience fun.
I love the few products I purchased and would recommend anyone with makeup counter-phobia to definitely check this place first.
