AquaVie Day Spa

This is a review from my sister. Its about one of the tenants in the spa.
“I am very, very unhappy with my results from Jennifer Bassi’s work for permanent eyeliner. (See pictures) This isn’t a matter of just cosmetic dislike, I had to go to urgent care where I was informed I had a severe bacterial infection, get Rx eye drops & cancel three days of work due to the level of pain & my inability to see. I literally had to keep my eyes shut & just lay down. I spent close to $450 to get my eyeliner done, My eyelashes are falling out, the tattoo is bubbled and splotchy and the tattoo is hardly

The receptionists there were friendly and kind! My masseur was Issac (hope I spelled that right). He was excellent! Best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. He was friendly and you could really tell he likes his job. Overall 5 stars!

I had the best massage in my life and I get them quit often. I had Isaac as my massage therapist and he was great. He make sure he communicated with me and he did exactly what I needed this day. I would 100% recommend this place.

Isaac did a fantastic massage. very professional, very knowledgeable. Highly recommend making an appointment with him!

This place is great! I took my bridesmaids here to get our nails done before my wedding and they took great care of us. The atmosphere is amazing here and I have been back many times. Each staff member is kind and INCREDIBLE! I will never go to any other spa! AquaVie is the best!

I experienced one of my best massage experiences at AquaVie Spa. My masseuse was very attentive to my therapeutic needs. I felt very safe in the environment doing the Cover-19. I was so impressed I sent my husband to the same masseuse and he felt the same. I will go back soon.

Today I went in for a massage with Donavon. As soon as I laid down on the massage table there was a problem. He had the table set up so the table was slanted downward. The head of the bed was two inches lower than the foot area. :(

I have had a zillion massages at other day spas in Utah, in the US and in other countries. This was the first time someone set up the massage table incorrectly. The face pillow was as hard as a rock. (face pillows are supposed to be soft).

As soon as I laid down on the defective massage table I felt a sharp pain go down my leg :( I was fine when I walked

I love getting pampered at AquaVie! The staff is phenomenal and always kind! They have extreme attention to detail and are so great to work with! Today I got a pedicure and the paraffin wax was delightful and left my feet so soft! Polina did an amazing job and was so kind and sweet.

Let me start off by saying that I love Jenn, Soli, and the other estaticians I've used at Aquavi. It appears however that the front desk staff has recently changed and not for the better. Today when I went to the front desk to pay, I was completely ignored for over 5 minutes. The girl at the front desk organized her papers, straightened her work area and completely ignored my presence, even with me waiving my credit card around so that she MIGHT get the hint I needed something. When I raised my voice to the girl and asked her if she even worked there, the manager came out from the back

My friends and I recently booked 3 of their Afternoon Delight packages as part of a bachelorette celebration and it was wonderful! The staff was accommodating from booking the packages to when we finished (they even brought in another massage therapist to make sure to accommodate all 3 of us at the same time). My friends and I each had different areas of focus we wanted going into our massages and we ended up with three unique and relaxing experiences. If I'm ever in the Salt Lake City area again I will be sure to be back!

So my boyfriend got me a half day package with a pedicure and hour and half massage. When i got there i thought they would offer a robe and maybe somewhere to put my coat and purse but after waiting 15 min in the lobby they took me to the room to get my pedicure, which when i got there it took another 15 min. to get the water in the footbath. I have had way better pedicure experiences at cheap nail places. Then when i was done i sat in a cold room with bright lights waiting for my massage...mind you i stilll was carrying my coat and purse. The room was freezing and i waited for at least a half

This review is specifically about massage. I keep thinking I will try other things there, but it hasn't happened so far. I have had both a traditional Swedish massage there and also the lymphatic drainage. Both were pretty great.

I also like the facilities. It always seems pretty peaceful and serene there. I am usually there in the evening, and I never feel rushed or crowded.

This place is supposed to be a business that specialized in CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never have I had a worse customer service experience.
My boyfriend purchased a WAY over priced gift certificate that this place refuses to return (even with the receipt in hand)! *Nowhere does the receipt or the certificate say no returns or refunds.

Liz - the receptionist is able to sell you whatever they have to offer, but as soon as the word refund came out of my mouth she turned snarky and pawned me off on the "manager".

I love Aquavie! I go to Jennifer for facials, microdermabrasion and chemical peels. She is such an angel. I can't wait to go again because I have noticed quite an improvement in my skin. You really get a lot for your money here too.

This place is ok overall. My massage therapist was very sweet and tried hard but I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage and it was subpar. I asked her to deepen the pressure but that didn't really happen. I looked at the clock right before starting and it ended 75 minutes later so this is apparently the type of place that times you from the second you walk in the door. I get deep tissue because I get a lot of knots from my Job and if it's a good massage I can feel more relaxed long-term. The day after, I felt no different than the day before. Overall, for the price it's not
