I've spent most of my career studying and working in wellness as a fitness professional, holistic nutrition coach and massage therapist. Frustrated with the frustration from women who "did all the right things" but still weren't feeling good about their eating behaviors, their bodies, their whole selves, I looked for another way.
My non diet, weight neutral, Health At Every Size approach guides you to feel good in your body through "gentle nutrition." Diet culture has us focused on our physical appearance, duping us into believing that our health is defined by our size or shape. This is a distorted and simplistic idea of health ignoring its complexities.
My small group virtual classes give you support, energy and direction as you learn the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating and/or the 5 competencies of the Be Body Positive Model. In 30 minutes I feel like I learned so much and felt so empowered by her insights - and I would not be endorsing her work on my social media if I did not honestly feel that way. She introduced me to the term "cephalic phase digestive response" and how diet culture interrupts our ability to register what we're putting into our bodies. It was truly fascinating and eye-opening.

Tanya is an amazing coach. I have been with her for over a year now, yes she is that good. She was able to see where I was at, and bring me to a place of freedom with food and with life. She listens and actually hears what is underneath what I am saying, and get to the root of the issue. I am a medical student. My time is full. I work hard. Persistance and determination are my middle name... but when misdirected this can "steal away years of talent". This is where the intuition needs to come into play. Tanya has proved to be a key part of my team to re-ignite my own power and give me more time in the day.
