First time trying La Fiesta and it was a great first impression! I called to put in an order for pozole and needed enough to last me and my husband a couple days because we are sick. Picked it up not knowing the price or how big and had to change the order to two bowls instead of four because it was my fault for not asking. The guy who helped us, which I assume was a manager or owner, gave us a free bottle of Chardonnay and chips and salsa. He was so nice and accommodating to us and my mistake. The pozole is amazing! It brings me back home when I eat it. I would recommend this place not only for

Is there any possibility for improvement of their bathrooms. They need a bathroom downstairs. Its not good for a handicap patron to have to climb stairs. I was attending a birthday celebration recently & had a difficult time getting to a restroom. The party wasn't arranged by me therefore I didn't make the decision where we sat.

Been awhile since I've been here (once during Covid) and have visited many times somewhat reluctantly. Would give 2 1/2 stars if option was available. Grew up eating Tex-Mex and agree there are much better options in town for Mexican-style cuisine sans the cantina atmosphere. The cantina would be a factor in one's visit I imagine based on the positive feedback I've heard.
Group visit here once and opted for the cheeseburger which was very good. Staff is consistently quite pleasant I seem to remember.

Do not bother going. The order was rong. The food was subpar and the cost was ridiculous. This is the second time we were given more food than we ordered so they could charge us more. On top of it all we ordered beef and go beef with shrimp. Again to charge us more than what we ordered. This place has really gone down hill.

Called last night for a to go order and the employee wouldn't take my order unless I paid ahead of time which I agreed to. He later became frustrated with the computer and hung up the phone on me without any explanation.
I then traveled to the restaurant to complete my order in person. I waited at the front desk for over 15 minutes and I was not acknowledged by anyone. A cashier eventually walked in from the back but did not acknowledge me. Instead he struck a 20 minute conversation with customers who were already leaving. He vented about other employees who he disliked and continued to

We are in Fallon for one day and had three independent recommendations for La Fiesta, and it was easy to see why. The service is friendly, the food abundant and the margaritas vast, but this wasn't quantity over quality- the cabbage salsa was delicious as was the pork tostada. They also gave us a literal sack of chips that will fuel the kids on our road trip. Recommend for large appetites.

After a long day at Naval Air Station Fallon, we stopped by for an early dinner. I saw the Pozole on the menu and our server said it was excellent.
Pazole is one of my favorite soups and after being in 97 degree weather all day, hot soup was a logical choice...at least for me. The soup was loaded with pork and hominy. The broth was spot on. Their Dos equis Michlota was more appropriate for the hot weather!
I will return the next time I am in Fallon!

I was here last maybe 10 years ago so I can see a lot has changed since then.
I ordered the California burrito with no onions. This wasn't really a burrito but more like a huge enchilada. The "burrito" was fully stuffed with rice, a ton of French fries and about 10-15 small pieces of carne asada plus more rice on the side, a little bit of pico de Gallo and some sour cream and guacamole.
The rice was ok. The fries were definitely reheated fries, like when you have leftover fries and you microwave them, just like that. The meat, was full of tendons and rubbery. Good thing there

Went out for a Sunday brunch and was craving Mexican so we decided to give La Fiesta a shot. The chips and salsa were decent. The salsa itself was more watery than I would have liked but it had a good kick to it, not too spicy either. The lemonade wasn't too sweet which I liked. I shared my entree, California Burrito. Now I was pretty disappointed with this dish. I've never had a California Burrito that was smothered in sauce like an enchilada and had I'd known that, I would have made a different choice. But on the menu, there are no pictures nor a description of that dish. The taste

1. salsa-Garbage... its canned tomatoes diluted with water they added chopped onion, jalapeno, cilantro and vinegar. Its as thin as water and tastes like vinegar with a hint of tomatoe.
2. I orderd al pastor chimichangas... the meat is so over cooked its tougher than carne asada from the taco shop after you let it get cold. Served on a Microwaved plate to melt the cheese on the beans then throw on wilted lettuce and tomato and rice aldente.
bland food, cheap ingredients, boxes everywhere and my food cost 20$ just for 1 plate.
2 WORDS... NEVER AGAIN. At least the service was friendly.

Another great family night at La Fiesta... Whenever we're are in town we love to eat here. Our server, Gracie, was very friendly and attentive. She served our table of six with ease. All of our orders were perfect and drinks were amazing! Victor even came by and said hello. La Fiesta is a great place for family get togethers or if you just want to stop for a quick bite. We are going back today! p.s. we love Chepe and Francisco!!

I use to like this place, been going since 2001. But something has happened to the food. Before this review, the food had flavor and was prepared for your pleasure. For some reason, the food now is so bland and flavorless we literally had to pour the chip salsas on everything to have even a hint of Mexican flavor.
La Fiesta, if you read this review, I'm telling you, get rid of your cooks. A family of four adults ate at your restaurant last night. All of us did not like your food. It was absolutely flavorless.
We will not be coming back anytime soon... hopefully you will find this review

Stopped here randomly on my way back to LA and asked them to make me a special order since I'm vegan and grain free. Basically we decided on a veggie burrito bowl with some mushrooms, greens, rice and beans and I was given a HUGE portion of food which made me very happy considering I'd been driving for 5 hours. It was a lot of food for the price and pretty tasty!

Huge, delicious portions -- proportional to what you pay ($$$), of course. TBH, we came here because The Slanted Porch was closed but based on the volume of reviews on Google Maps (~500) we decided to check it out! Plus, who doesn't like Mexican food???
My steak tacos were pretty good and I HAVE to highlight the house salsa and cabbage sauce that come with every visit.
