I believe the human body heals itself. When a person takes the time to provide a healing space for his or her body to holistically heal, I am there to help provide that space. I listen to the body's voice and direction, to aid in that healing through touch. The therapist is a listener first, and moves healing energy where it needs to go to heal.

Whether utilizing Swedish, or Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, or CranioSacral Therapy, the body leads. Alice takes an integrated approach to healing by working with your physician, naturopath, physician's assistant, etc. Releases endorphins (natural chemicals produced by the body to reduce pain & promote well-being).
Services
Sports Massage is a special form of massage and is typically used before, during, and after athletic events. The purpose of the massage is to prepare the athlete for peak performance, to drain away fatigue, to relieve swelling, to reduce muscle tension, to promote flexibility and to prevent injuries.
The therapist performs massage techniques chosen to address specific dysfunctions or pathologies. Medical massage can help relieve some of the pain of various medical conditions, such as bursitis, herniated discs and sciatica. Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome symptoms may be helped with medical massage.
Today, people can remain active, vibrant and healthy throughout their lives. However, many seniors are inactive, bored, and depressed. Some are confined to their home, a care facility, or bed. Often, they do not receive the personal attention they need, and their caregivers just can't do it all. Massage is wonderful for this stage of life, providing much-needed, gentle, caring touch for all levels of health, even including palliative care.
CranioSacral Therapy is performed on a person fully clothed. The therapist uses delicate touch to monitor and detect restrictions in the craniosacral system and relieve undue pressure in the brain and spinal cord (ask for Upledger brochure for more details), which comprise the central nervous system.
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) is a light, rhythmic maneuver that aids in the recirculation of lymphatic flow. The therapist works with flat hands and creates wavelike movements, and also detects the specific rhythm, direction, depth and quality of lymph flow anywhere in the body. Lymph vessels transport numerous substances, including blood proteins, toxins, hormones, fatty acids, and immune cells.

Alice is very dedicated to her clientele; she shows concern with my wellness and appears very knowledgeable about her gift to heal. She has also given me advice on how to continue healing on my own. Her place if business is clean as well as relaxing.
