On behalf of those involved with Denim & Diamonds, THANK YOU for making this our most successful fundraising campaign to date with more than $121,700 raised! Dr. Bryce Heitman was the lucky winner of the yellow diamond necklace provided by Kari's Diamonds and Bridal, valued at $13,995. Proceeds from this year's Denim & Diamonds are designated to the development of a simulated apartment suite within our Inpatient Medical Rehabilitation unit.

I had a good Doctor and the Nurse was very helpful and nice. But if you need any kind of help at the Counter dont go to the Hispanic Women if you're White they just ignore you, they only acknowledge Hispanics you have to go to any other person to be helped. That was on the second floor in the Surgery department.

Go out of town. It's your safest bet. My husband was experiencing numbness in his right arm and dizziness. Took him to the ER; all tests were "normal". Second visit a day later; was told he was dizzy because his blood pressure was too high. I asked for him to be transported and was told "he doesn't meet criteria'". Took him to Stormont Vail in Topeka myself and almost immediately, he was being treated for a suspected stroke. He had in fact had a stroke. I'm not exaggerating when I say go out of town.

I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes barely able to breathe. I was then seen for all of 30 minutes ignored every time I suggested some thing, given a breathing treatment prescribed steroids and was told to leave. They didn’t check any thing other than my vitals and claimed that an O2 stats was the be-all and all of me being able to breathe. You are better off going literally anywhere else. This ER is useless

I have had nothing but great care at Newman Regional Health. Last September, I had Covid and went to the ER to receive an IV at my doctors request. They treated me with such compassion. Everyone from the check-in to the nurses, x-ray technician and Dr. Watters were just fantastic! They calmed my nerves about my condition and reassured me that I was healing well and should recover just fine.
My father-in-law had his knee replaced recently and the care and attention that he has received has been nothing but wonderful! I have gone to most of his appointments with him and they treat him as an individual

The ER doctor Seaburger has no respect for his patients. He completely mocked my boyfriend at the nurses station and the nurses and him were laughing. I would much rather drive 45 minute's to Stormont Vail then to be treated with no respect. And I know NRH is going to reply back saying to contact them, I already have. And they can expect a lot more reports from me.

Leave it to Newman to send someone's bill to collections during a pandemic.
Have not received a paper bill from them in months. Called their billing department multiple times to work out a different pay plan. Let's not forget that the bill was because their imaging department did the wrong MRI when I had one on file. Also, you charge the pain management specialist hundreds of dollars to use the space double charging the patient.
I would rather drive to KC if I had an issue than ever use your services. This medical center is a stain on the wonderful city of Emporia and the people there. You are

I had a total hip replacement last month. I was delighted with the communication with staff members before surgery. They more than adequately prepared me for what would be going on. Everyone was cheerful and kind. In recovery and when I was settled into my room everyone was very thoughtful in caring for me. I was only hospitalized for one day but the support I received helped prepare me for returning to my home to complete my recovery.

Thank you Newman Regional Health and special thanks to Karen in your billing department. My 38th birthday will be one to remember. I was cycling across the country on the Journey of Hope Bike Ride. It was the 30th anniversary of this Ability Experience by Pi Kappa Phi event. The team is 30 cyclist and 8 crew members. We ride over 4,330 miles mile to raise money and awareness for people with disabilities. The only days I missed on the bike were in Emporia Kansas. I was hit hard by the Sapovirus. The fine people at Newman Reginoal Health took great care of me. A couple bags of fluid had me feeling
