I'm Dan Tibma, President and Owner of Tibma Design/Build home remodeling contractors. As a local remodeling company, we take great pride in the quality of work we do and even greater pride in knowing our clients trust us and continue to work with us year after year.
Since I grew up in a homebuilding family and spent my summer vacations learning the business from the ground up, pushing a broom or wielding a shovel, you could say that being a contractor is in my blood.In order to build this business the right way, I earned a degree in construction management from the University of Florida and have since spent more than 30 years in the construction industry, working and learning.

A design/build firm perform essentially the same function as a general contractor, however they offer additional benefits as well. As the name implies, a design/build firm handles both the building portion of your remodeling project as well as the design aspects. Typically a general contractor works off of someone else's plans, leaving you to find an architect or other designer to draw up the plans.
