In many instances, windshields can be repaired using cutting edge chemical resin. Windshields are multi-layered sheets of tempered glass and polyvinyl butyral (plastic) that, if not cracked on both sides, can be repaired. Needed a new windshield for my Nissan. Contacted the Auto Glass Guys on nye. They had the best pricing. I could not believe was how quickly they were able to complete the job! I was so surprised that they were able to do my replacement today - in spite of the winter weather & the holiday weekend.
