At first I thought John and his team were going to be helpful when starting my first business. Nope! Wrong. He sometimes wouldn't answer my emails. It would take days for him to respond. I had to really push hard for them to give me the documents for my business. After two months of waiting, I got my operating agreement but I found several mistakes. Some of the document had someone’s else name. overall, you're better off working with another lawyer. I paid John over $3,000 for bad work.

I would NOT recommend this firm to perform anything of importance. After my first consultation and they taking my retainer, no one ever reached out to me to commence administering my father's trust; forcing me to have to contact them for advice and/or guidance. However, they picked and chose which matter(s) to address and, of course, charged me at, no less than half hour, top rate - their two-person collaboration - systematically whittling away at my retainer. Feel free to contact me. I was robbed. Every single reason I hired an attorney to avoid came to pass. He ignored my wishes, I lost a quarter million dollars because I used this firm. I am angry and I intend to settle this is it's the last thing I do. I was not answered in a prompt manner when I would call in. I was pushed off to a paralegal who REPEATEDLY dropped the ball. The estate still is not settled he just cost me eight thousand dollars for absolutely NOTHING. I simply can not believe this has occurred. They were no help what so ever.... Mr. Kalicki did our trust several years ago. We were satisfied with it until we requested the substitution of one beneficiary for another. Basically, a word processing change and new signatures. We were not told upfront how we would be billed for this, and since I have worked as a paralegal, I did not expect the cost to be that high. It turned out to be $1,750! He informed us that he charges flat rates for changes and that was his rate. I checked with the American Bar Association, and their own web site says that attorneys who charge flat rates should disclose them upfront in writing and get the

Yesterday I had called the office and spoke to the paralegal Davene about my situation. She was very open about her personal experience her own custody case, and helped me see that I may be able to do this on my own.
