I would give 5 stars, financial department is the best , it's paying the notes / loan payments every month that's difficult. It's the most inconvenient loan payments I've ever dealt with . If you are not able to walk in and pay it's a 10 to 15 minute wait on the phone and a 10 dollar convenient fee . Every thing else I have payments on is a few clicks in the app and a submit push with my debit card and done.

I have had an account with them since 2010/2011. But If you're thinking about banking with New Orleans Firemans Federal Credit Union. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING ELSEWHERE!! They have been nothing but a headache an problematic over the 2 last years! I would trust Ray Charles to cut my pubes before I trust trust them with a nickel again. There is always a fee, or delay, or some ten mile hoop you have to jump through; an the Bogalusa branch was so bad and rude about it that I never want to set foot on their property ever again.

Had no issues with the bank up until now with this recent weather I had no way to travel to get all the way to a branch due to me moving and branches are further away now. Anyway a bill attempted to draft out my acct because i have it on automatic and my acct did not have the balance to cover so I was charged and it left a negative in my account and soon as I seen it I had to get someone to cash app me in order to transfer money in the acct to cover the negative literally within mins and I assumed that the bank had paid the bill and charged me a small fee because it was literally only $29 but they

A big shout goes to the Metairie Call Center. Jessica, Racquelle, Shika, Josh and Melanie. No matter when you call or who you speak with, they treat you like are the most important person. Always professional and willing to go the extra mile to help you get what you need. I have experience with another CU whose call center employees make you feel like you’re the biggest pain. Never have I had that experience at NOFFCU. Can’t say enough good things about NOFFCU. They treat you like family and that’s the biggest plus.

I have been a member for 7 years. They are really good about giving loans to members. The issue is they are a small bank and antiquated. It’s not easy to transfer money from outside banks. It took 10 Business days for NOFFCU to cash a large Federal check. Because I work 8-5 and the bank is only open 8-4 and only the main branch is open on weekends it’s not really convenient.
