THE METAL MEN is a quality custom sheet metal fabrication shop located in a 9,000 square foot facility in Chicopee, MA. We are an established company, started in 1999. Our facility contains a complete line of state of the art fabrication, machining and welding equipment. In addition to our full metal fabrication, we offer liquid spray, powder coating and Outside Service Plating such as anodize and chrome.

Our AMADA FOM2 Laser is a 4000 watt machine that pierces through metal using a laser beam along with an assist of either Air, Liquid Nitrogen, Liquid Oxygen or water depending on the material being cut. It has two different centers, a sheet cutting center on one end and a tube cutting center on the other.

If I could rate 0 star I would, they are irresposible. I dropped off a part for them to do it and waited 2 months. They did not work on the part and everytime i called to get a status on the work they did not return my calls and will say 2 more weeks. Very unprofessional. I was able to bring my part to Falcon Machine and they did it the same week. What a difference when dealing with professionals.

I needed a mounting bracket replicated. I brought in the part hoping to receive a call, no call after a few days. Went back to get my part back, and the person who was supposed to do the estimate made a rude comment about how much it was going to cost and good luck finding someone to fabricate the part.
These people could care less about the customers unless they are bringing in orders of 1k+ dollars or more.
Not a good shop for small work.

Had this company do several jobs for me totaling 3500.00
They were never ready when they said they would and did one job incorrectly,.
I was told to bring it back and they charged me 150.00 to fix there mistake.
Watch out, they are overpriced, never call back, and rude over the phone.
There are several other metal companies in the immediate area that are much cheaper and professional to deal with.

Metalmen welded and installed a metal plate for a tow hitch to attach to on an old 3500 dump body. Fantastic work. Our company was in a jam with one of our trucks in the shop & the other the hitch rusted off, so we couldn't pull a trailer. We explained to the owner that we really could use it done asap to continue our jobs, we were able to drop the truck off that morning and it was completed by the afternoon. At first we thought the price was a little on the high side, but wow it was WORTH IT ALL. They had our truck ready to be picked up that afternoon & the workmanship was beautiful. I definitely
