Georgetown Motorcycle Repair is localy owned and operated. I work for myself, so my customers deal with me directly. I have been in the Georgetown area since 1996. I work on Polaris, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, Harley Davidson, Gold Wings, Huskavara, vintage motorcycles, side by sides; Kawasaki Mule & Teryz, Yamaha Can Am, Polaris Razors and others.
My name is Kenneth Templeton and I am a master mechanic with over 35 years of experience specializing in motorcycles and ATV's. I work a lot in the community and with the city. I am honest, straight-forward and stand by my work. I raced pro for Yamaha, and then Kawasaki for about 5 years. I still enjoy racing and riding to this day.

I talked to the receptionist guy and he says I can drop my bike off and it’ll take a week for them to look at it which was fine with me. I ride over 45 minutes there and the tech tells me what my problem is and then proceeds to say he’s too busy to work on it? “I’m busy” was his exact words not even looking me in the eye or anything. Just say you don’t want to work on my bike? It wasn’t even a huge problem it was a throttle cable problem allegedly and I didn’t NEED it done right away. Clearly stated that to the both of them. Not really sure why I get told one thing over the phone

Customer service is a lost art, but not with Tucker and Kenny. I bought a rusted out UTV from what I thought was a honest person. Dealership in Bastrop wanted to do the minimal work for an astronomical price. Took it to Georgetown and they bent over backwards trying to find me a better frame or replacement UTV. They were always concerned with getting me the best deal. They found me an awesome used machine, went through every piece of it with a fine-tooth comb and now I have a safe, great new Power Ranger. :) It was a great experience working with them and I appreciate all they did for me.

My husband is disabled and we depend on our Kawasaki Mule to take him around the place. It kept overheating, needed a new tire, and the engine light had been on for months. Kenneth and Tucker kept me informed about the repairs. The overheating issue was tricky because it was intermittent. They diagnosed the problem and corrected it. Now all the issues of the mule are fixed and it runs great! This is a very professional place with reasonable prices. They take the time to fix things right! Thank you! Thank you!

They've had my bike for 10 months now with no communication. I've called. I've left probably 25 messages. I've gone to the shop. No one is ever there. The times I have spoken to Ken he says he's "busy". Now he says my bike is ready but he has no idea how much my bill is. I've been trying to call now to set up a time to pick it up and.....you guessed it..no answer and no call back.
It's kind of odd. He's worked on my bikes for years but after this experience if I ever get my bike back I'll have to find another bike mechanic.
UPDATE: I went in to get my bike today finally. It runs just as bad if

Kenneth does good work. I had him install some aftermarket fork springs and rear shocks on my 2019 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. He initially told me it'd be about a week, but he had it done in just a couple of days (that's what we call an "engineering buffer"). It's a small, individually owned shop, and he makes his own hours, so it's best to call before you try to swing by. But don't let that put you off. He's very knowledgeable and his prices are quite reasonable. Give him a shout before going to stand in line at the national motorsports conglomerate shop, it's worth it to keep your money
