Starting in 1983 with an old tractor/backhoe and an old dump truck, Raymond is now operating a company with 22 employees, many pieces of new equipment and dump trucks. The crew is made up of dedicated, knowledgeable, and courteous men that know their job and do it well. This will be the 38th year in business for Schrupp Excavating. Raymond started the business with one old cat and one old dump truck. He now has a crew of 20, hard working, very professional men and a fleet of the best equipment for any job, big or small.
Ray has built the business to it's current success by having two priorities, first always be at the job when you are scheduled and complete the job on time and, second, make sure the job is done right the first time.

Just a short note to you and your employees to express satisfaction and appreciation for the work you did on our new driveway. The level of professionalism you and your employees exhibited was very refreshing. Having dealt with a number of contractors in this area, I have not been impressed with their work ethic or their ability to complete a task in a timely manner.

Ray is such a knowledgeable and responsive business Individual. We had several loads of class 5 delivered, and then had a holding tank installed. So happy with the class five gravel, and I can’t express how much, his crew worked so diligently
and are such experts in their fields. I couldn’t of been more happy with the results. If I have anything else that I need to do, I won’t even waste time, Ray and his crew, are my go too guys.

I'm new to the area and needed some excavating done. I got 3 bids and Schrupp responded right away and his bid was the most reasonable. After they did the job ( much quicker than the other bidders said they could do it in) I was most impressed with the professionalism, of Rays crew and the follow up after the job from Ray. Rays input with future projects has proven to be helpful and now I don't look for other bids because I know I'm going to quality work for a very reasonable price! Thanks Ray and your crew for jobs well done!

This is our second house construction we have used Schrupp Excavating for (20 years ago and again this summer) and I can say they are the best people and company to deal with. They are very prompt and understanding of our timelines, very friendly and personable to deal with and the highest quality work you will find. There are no shortcuts. Absolute quality work at every step. As a matter of fact I really appreciate and value their advice and suggestions as I’m doing my own general contracting.
