I telephoned Ace because of problems with my dryer, washing machine, and refrigerator. The operator scheduled a time for a lady technician to come to my home. Later, I learned that the lady technician had taken that day off from work. That concerned me.
However, the operator said that she could arrange for Steve to come at a different time, instead. Steve repaired quickly the dryer by cleaning out the lint compartment inside the dryer. We called for repair because our fridge was leaking water. It was a simple fix, the hose for ice maker was leaking. We called a number that said we'd get 20% off as new customers and the $65 for coming out would be applied applicable to final bill. We were charged $300, yikes.
When I called questioning the amount, I was told they would credit us $60, still for changing a hose - $240!

Only have positive things to say. I called a couple of places after I had a different company come out to do diagnostic, and he gave me the lowest quote on replacing blower motor and fan. He was on time, fixed it, and was able to avoid costly replacement of blower fan by doing a repair. He did an excellent job, the whole system is running smoothly and I'm very happy when all said and done. Seriously 5 stars.

These guys are scam artists. They came into the place talking about fixing the issue and saying the thermostat needs to be replaced. Only with him leaving and it still broken. After finding someone we knew we could trust, they fixed the actual contact module and the thermostat was perfectly fine.

I'd give them minus stars if I could. These folks are not to be trusted. Everything on their website (and they have multiple different names such as Alameda County HVAC Repair) is fake. There are no names associates and the website has no specifics. I am almost certain that they have friends and family giving them 5 star reviews.
So here's what happened to us. We were stood up after waiting for a whole day on Friday. We could have called other businesses or checked ourselves into a hotel. I have elderly people I am taking care of.

Our air conditioner broke as soon as the summer heat temperatures rose (which apparently happens to everyone). We called around and no one could come out for OVER A WEEK. That timeframe didn't work for various reasons (we have houseguests coming to stay in a few days) and Ace Air Appliance saved the day. Walter came out that night (at 8pm!) and knew how to fix it. He repaired it the next day. It was a bit pricier than we hoped but we are so happy just to have it fixed and so quickly. He is extremely professional and kind and loves dogs and our dog loved him so that goes for something.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! They regularly change their name, probably to outrun bad reviews (and perhaps the Better Business Bureau too). We called them to repair our gas fireplace. Their representative said his name was Michael (although in other reviews he's apparently Vladamir). He showed up after 8:00 PM, more than 2 hours late. First he sat in front of the fireplace doing absolutely nothing for several minutes. Then he started banging around inside, told us it needed a new gas valve, for which he would charge $800 parts & labor, and finally charged us $65 just for the estimate. We ended

Frigidaire freezer quit and I don't know how to troubleshoot it, I should of watched YouTube, however the family didn't tell me the freezer quit freezing. It had been days with lack of proper freezing so I was in a hurry. My 'go to" guy didn't answer the phone so I tried Ace because they have the parts and give 20% discount for first time customer. I would of saved a lot of money if I paid the $65 service charge and bought the thermostat at Amazon. The part averaged $10-$12. I was charged $159 for part and $180 labor, but the 20% discount applied to labor. No problems with
