Nitrous oxide - The pediatric dentist may recommend nitrous oxide (more commonly known as "laughing gas") for children who exhibit particular signs of nervousness or anxiety. Nitrous oxide is delivered via a mask, which is placed over the child's nose. Nitrous oxide is always combined with oxygen - meaning that the child can comfortably breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Dr. Kaur and her staff are amazing! It is obvious from scheduling the appointment for my daughter's to their entire appointment that they care. They made my 7 and 11 year old girls so comfortable. My daughter's were so worrid about the appointment but by the time we had to leave they didn't want to go. Now they can't wait to go back! I highly recommend Dr. Kaur! Amazing experience!!

100% recommend. Will not take my boys anywhere else. We have been with Dr. Kaur for about 6 years and my kids love her and staff. We have moved and will continue to make the drive out to stay with this practice. Dr. Kaur has made both my kids comfortable each and every time we step into the office. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences for years. If you are looking for friendly, clean and painless pediatric dental care this is the place to go!

I have been going here basically my whole life and have never had a bad experience! All of the staff are very educated and polite, and Dr. Kaur is the best. They have taught me how to properly brush my teeth and how to take care of them. I always get compliments on my teeth and it’s because of them! I would definitely recommend.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Smiles for Life. My children have been seeing Dr. Kaur since they were toddlers and we have had only good experiences. In fact, we have recommended her practice to many friends. Dr. Kaur is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Recently, my daughter had a traumatic injury to her front teeth and Dr. Kaur and her staff were responsive and supportive during the visit. My daughter was relaxed and calm knowing, after many years, that she was in good hands. I also love how easy they are to communicate with. After my daughter's injury, I was able to email photographs

Everyone who works there is so nice. They take their time to reassure my kids when they are afraid. My oldest (age 7) needed dental surgery. Dr Kaur was there the whole time with him. She came and updated me when he was all done. He was back to normal that same day. I am happy to see my kids excited to go to the dentist, and not afraid. Definitely worth the 40 minute drive.

What a relief to find a caring and honest pediatric dentist! I recently brought my sons (age 8 and age 10) to see Dr. Kaur, and I'm really happy we switched to this practice. Our previous pediatric dentist was too aggressive for my liking, charging us nearly a thousand dollars for 2 fillings ON BABY TEETH. Dr. Kaur takes a much more conservative (and modern) approach: one son has 2 microcavities that she recommended treating with silver diamine fluoride instead of fillings; the other has a new cavity on a baby tooth that she'd prefer to just monitor until he loses it.
