Dr. Aura Marcela Torres is proud to have been serving Santa Cruz, Capitola, Scotts Valley, Soquel, and neighboring communities for years. Aura Marcela Torres was born in Villavicencio, Colombia and attended San Martin University in Bogota, graduating with honors in Dental Medicine in 1988.
After moving to the U.S. in 1990, she continued her studies in general and restorative dentistry, earning her license to practice dentistry in California in 1994.Dr. Torres worked three years as an associate with a specialist in pediatric dentistry and ran the University of California Santa Cruz Dental Clinic for five years.

Dr. Torres is a very warm and caring dentist. She only does the work that needs to be done (no expensive unnecessary procedures), and she does it skillfully and with a minimum amount of pain or discomfort. My wife, two children, and myself attend her practice and we are all very happy with the results. She truly is an artist in her profession!

I have been going to Dr Torres for a couple years now on a recommendation from a close friend. I am very happy with the care I have received. My previous dentist got overly expensive and constantly recommended expensive services that I didn't really need. I have found that Dr Torres' prices have always been quite reasonable and I am never pestered with suggestions for extra services. She and her staff always make you feel at home and I always feel they are all looking out for what is best for me. Her work is quick and efficient and I couldn't be happier.

Dr. Torres is absolutely amazing! She always makes you feel so comfortable in the chair and you can just feel how strong her knowledge of dentistry is in the way she easily and confidently performs any treatment. My entire family is so thankful we found her and are now being treated by her and her team.

Dr. Torres is a very experienced capable dentist. She explains the situation fully, does what she says she will do and gets you on your way in an efficient manner. She will answer all of your questions.
Her staff is amazing. Very competent friendly and make you feel right at home.
I highly recommend Dr. Torres and i wish that there were medical Doctors in town with her abilities.
