In 1986, at only 18 years of age and no more than a few months out of high school I purchased the business that is now known as Clearview Shields. With the financial, physical and mental help of my lovely wife Tonya, together we managed to build a successful motorcycle windshield manufacturing firm that after 32 years is known worldwide for high quality and unique replacement motorcycle windshields.
At Clearview Shields that motorcycle windshield is our first and only priority. It's been our only priority for over 32 years, never changing our focus. Designing, Manufacturing and distributing everything we do in house in full control over every step of the production process. All here in Colorado, USA.
When thinking about you and possibly your passengers comfort a windshield is normally at the top of every riders list, but there are a few things to consider that will effect how well the screen will perform. Be sure to consider these 3 areas before making your final decision on your screen. Your seat is one of the biggest influencers when deciding screen height.
Looking over the shield you will feel slightly more air than when looking through it, which may be an advantage in hot weather. There is also a slight chance of high flying debris contacting the rider over the top of the shield, though smaller objects will be carried over the rider with the airflow.
Being on a motorcycle can be one of the most freeing experiences a person can enjoy, hence why it is so popular. If you're like me, whenever you can get a chance to ride you want to be on for more than just a few minutes. Long day rides are great but the extended trip is the best.

Just installed the new shield on my Silverado and couldn’t be more pleased. Absolutely clear and beautiful. It did take 10 days for them to get it cut, but before shipping they noticed a tiny imperfection. They called to offer me a discount or the option of having a new one cut. Since I couldn’t see it, I opted for a new one. They got on it and it showed up a week later. $143 with shipping was far better than the aftermarket replacements, and I simply used my original hardware and chrome pieces. Completely happy with Ckearview and the job they did. Best it’s ever looked.

Craig, Ryan, and their team are awesome! Not only a superior product but outstanding Customer Service. I have purchased 5 shield for my Street Glides and current Road Glide over the past few years, different heights for different riding conditions/touring. I recently placed an order for my wife's Switchback and the production time was going to be close, very close to our 17 day road trip. Now understand, this trip was 8 months in planning, I didn't need the extra stress of hoping shield would arrive in time. I spoke to Ryan and then Craig, son and owner, and both worked at getting production moved

I’m very disappointed in my purchase of this Clearview Shield. Recently I returned from a 3500 mile road trip in which I had installed my new Clearview shield. It might have performed 10% better better than a stock shield? The thing that disappoints me the most is how soft the plastic is, in the pictures you will see scratches after only 3500 miles worth of use. Other shields I’ve had in the past show no scratches even up to 10,000 miles. I’d be happy to send it back or exchange it if this is a bad batch of material. The web site seems to hype up the product but I’m here to say at this

Top level quality and customer service! Had one minor oopsie on the screen for my 2014 Triumph America and after talking with Craig on the phone I had I replacement in my hands in less than 24 hours with no hassle and a perfect fit. Had a windshield from 2015 on my touring HD cvo... 40K miles on windshield at least. Bottom left edge broke off and just happen to see it one day with a friend. Called them and they hook me up with a brand new one with a bit of a discount. This is my third Clearview and I have absolutely ZERO complaints about this company !! I DO recommend them to all my FRIENDS. There windshields are DANG good looking !! Love the 17" dark gray with the recurve 5" wider than STOCK !!

I just had a great experience with Clearview Shields! I had windshields w/vents done for a 1999 Harley Davidson Ultra and matching Ultra TLE Sidecar. Craig went over options, ideas, measurement with me made some great recommendations and suggestions. The results turned out great and I couldn't be happier both windshields are beautiful, perfect fitment. In fact Craig made sure as he personally installed them for me. Everyone at Clearview was great, really nice and easy to work with and produced a high-quality product. I'll give them Ten out of Ten or a hundred out of a hundred or whatever the highest
