The Family and Consumer Law Center works with clients who need the skills of a highly experienced Rhode Island consumer protection lawyer or Massachusetts divorce lawyer but who don't want to have to rob a bank to pay for it. At our law firm, prices are affordable, our lawyers are friendly, and they'll talk to you in plain, understandable English (or Spanish, Portuguese or French).
Christopher M. Lefebvre, Esq., practices family law, consumer protection law and bankruptcy law in the law firm that his father, Attorney F. Claude Lefebvre, began in 1964. Chris joined his father in the practice and together they have served clients in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts for 26 years from the firm's office in Pawtucket and a satellite office in Cranston.
Christopher got me through the bankruptcy process. This sounds like a simple statement, but it means so, so much. The process is complex, and I knew nothing about it. He explained what was happening, why it was happening, and what I could expect for results. He was patient with my endless questions, even when the process was well underway.

I made the typical mistake during my divorce with search out high priced so called “power attorney’s”. I went through 2 different lawyers during the first 7 months of being in and out of court. First I hired a female thinking maybe doing that and being a male it would help in family court. All it helped was that woman to my wallet. She came highly recommended and was considered to be one of the best. She ended up costing me around $8500 for a few months of going no where. As I fired her for not even gaining an inch, saw that all she was doing was stalling my case to milk more money from me
