I've had two knee replacement surgeries performed by Dr. Kapp my right knee in 2011 and my left knee in 2020., and he even helped me when I had a problem with my shoulder which he dosent usually take care of but he took the time to see me and gave me advice that cured that problem. There has never been a problem with my knees since my surgeries. I always feel very safe and confident with Dr. Kapp. I've read some negative reviews about some feel that the wait is sometimes very long in the waiting room. Dr. Kapp spends as much time talking and explaining presidures and listening to his patients to

My surgery was a disaster. It's been 7 years ago. I have had nothing but pain and swelling. When I went for 6 month follow up, Kapp said I don't see swelling, I see fat. Now I'm 5'5" and 150 lbs so I know it wasn't fat. I went to many other Drs. who would not take me on as a patient. They said they did not want to be involved in a law suit. Finally, after 4 yrs a well respected Dr. told me that the wrong size was implanted. The only way to fix them, was to drill out the old ones and put in new ones. And, he didn't recommend doing it. Oh, and they overdosed me with morphine and it took me two days

The difference in Dr. Kapp and other doctors is that he is not afraid to take on challenges. This not only comes from me but I heard that remark from nurses that know his work. I had an unsuccessful knee replacement almost two years ago and it just was not getting better. He took me for a second opinion and it was determined that I needed a revision. Dr Kapp is one of the best that Naples has to offer. Years of experience and does more surgeries than most of his competitors. He also did a revision on another family member and she got back to golf fairly soon. I am hoping to play some tennis in

Saw Dr. Kapp in Dec. 2014. He first did an x-ray of my knee and said the knee looked clean of arthritis and looked normal. I would need an MRI for further diagnosis of my pain. Diagnosed torn meniscus. He said I would be doing great in two weeks. Procedure went well, but my pain never changed. Visited the office several times to get fluid drained from knee. He was very friendly until I had a problem. Then he was rude and annoyed with me. He took another x-ray and told me my knee was full of arthritis and I needed a total knee replacement. Don't know how I went from a knee clear of arthritis

Dr Kapp explained what was needed and left the ultimate decision up to me. He was friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable. He answered any questions and took the time to see me and give an evaluation. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. He gave 3 checkups after surgery to make sure everything was okay.

If you wish to go to an arrogant man running an overcrowded mill, Dr. Kapp is your man. Don't bother trying to call the office or speak to anyone on the phone, it won't happen.
I took my Aunt there for a hip replacement. After several weeks of rehabilitation she was in pain on the other leg. He told her to wear a brace all the time on that leg which she did. Kapp never followed up or called to see how she was doing and continued to wear the brace. As a result the braced leg fractured and an additional 6 weeks of rehab was necessary.
An underling finally called and after giving him hell Kapp finally

Dr. Kapp performed knee reconstruction surgery due to the prior surgery on my patellar tendon re-rupturing. My original surgery was performed in TX while I was on vacation and Dr. Kapp was kind enough to take me on a new patient. I’m still recovering from the procedure, however, the Dr. Kapp and his team has been great.

Had Hip Surgery in 2018, unfortunately 7 weeks After i needed another surgery, Dr kapp had put to large of ball in my hip and I was exactly 1/2 inch taller on that side..Dr Kapp did not do the reconstruction surgery since he said that I should have the other side stretched out. Which would make me almost 5’6”, I always been 5’5”. My new doctor also found muscle cut the wasn’t never reattached, just hanging there..now a year later I still in physical therapy, my new hip is great, my legs are even...but still a lot of recovering from the muscles...Dr Kapp completely failed me...

Love this Dr. He was awesome! Up front, honest, and I followed his aftercare to a "T". "We" made great choices together about my care and I have no limp or pain re: my left knee replacement. At the time of my surgery, he was #3 surgeon in FL and #6 in USA. Dr Kapp is a no nonsense doctor. He's in demand, so if your going to go in there and "chit chat" he will cut you short. However he answered all my questions...in short , Cadillac care...and very in tune with my needs. Thank you so much! I plan on using Kapp for my right knee replacement sooooon

Dr Kapp is an exceptional surgeon and I should know I travel 5 hours one way by car and 38 minutes by My best friends Gulf Stream. I had the fortunate ability to meet him after the Hurricane in 2017. I had a botched total right knee replacement that needed a revision and if you know anything about orthopedic surgeons they don’t like touching another surgeons work. I asked Dr Kapp if he would consider taking on this difficult task and without hesitation he said yes. I’ve been Blessed and extremely pleased with his unbelievable ability as a surgeon. Thanks Dr Kapp!

I was referred to Dr Kapp by an outstanding surgeon Dr Gary Colon whom I think is the best spine Dr you could ever hope for. Anyway, Dr Kapp's office is kind of an assembly line but I went there to fix my knee and thats what I needed. I did not need convincing or hand holding. By the way, I found the office staff to be personable and professional. Ever step of the process has has been 5 star worthy, when it come time for the right knee I will be back and only hope I have the same experience. Thank you Dr Kapp, God bless.
