They asked for a credit card number to hold the appointment-first red flag. Tried to charge me $300 for a haircut and highlight. Amber messes up my hair badly. When I refused to pay the outrageous amount, they took it upon themselves to charge my card anyway. This place is bad news all the way around

I've spent years looking for a salon after my favorite stylist moved out of state. Well, today I met Tawny at Platinum Studio in Thornton and my search is over. She transformed 14 months of covid DIY haircuts, plus some medication-related hair issues, into the best haircut EVER! She's truly talented. I went in a little apprehensive and definitely a bit depressed and left laughing and extraordinarily pleased. Platinum Hair Studio is a hidden gem.

Fantastic service. The stylists are attentive, helpful with indecision, and very friendly. Definitely is a place to go if you want to get your hair colored or highlighted. I have tried cheaper places in the past for highlights and this place is worth the cost. They blended light and dark tones with my predyed hair perfectly!

I hadn't had my hair cut since before covid. On February 5th 2021 I called and got an appointment that day with Amber. I have never been here and I always get nervous of someone new cutting my hair. I wanted a-line cut and not mant ppl can do these. I showed Amber 2 pictures and away she went. She was super friendly, professional and make great conversation. She added layers to where I wanted them. When I left I left super happy and very excited that I found a new salon. I will definitely be back to have Amber cut my hair. Thanks again.

This is a fantastic hair salon! I got a cut/highlights & eyebrow tint & am thrilled with the results! Tawney (the owner) is professional, engaging & very talented, I saw some of the work the other ladies were doing & I would definitely trust my tresses w/them as well. The prices are very, very reasonable & the quality of work is superior. This was my second visit & I will remain a loyal customer.

Went here to achieve a light light light blonde. Has been great getting just highlights until this most recent time, we decided to just do my roots since i was basically all over blonde. I don’t know what Tawny did to my hair but it is bright yellow/orange. Whereas before it was platinum just the way I like it. Tawny was 100% aware of what I wanted.
I’m not that mad that she messed it up, I’m more upset at her correspondence post hair do. I came in to get a few highlights to try to make it a bit brighter and my hair is visibly orange in several spots that she colored. The rest of the strand

Love love love my blonde hair! This was my first time at this salon with Tawny and I’ll definitely be back. To say I had trust issues with my last “shot in the dark” salon would be an understatement, but the Platinum staff and Tawny put those concerns to rest almost immediately. I received multiple compliments within the first 24 hours and it was all due to the amazing women at Platinum Hair Studio!

They even did my wedding hair! But recently I have no idea what happened! I wanted silver hair! I was already blonde and pretty light to get what I desired!
